This is the problem with monthly chapter updates, it's difficult to keep track of everything.

I admit the story has gotten a bit confusing ever since she started the monthly installments. That said, yes, this is still part of the flashback that Kanda is experiencing. Allen and Rhode seem to have disappeared somewhere, though they are supposedly experiencing his flashback too. I am excited to finally learn more about Kanda's past. It certainly explains A LOT about the way he is. Here's hoping we can get more on Lavi soon?
