Stolen Hearts

~One of the most expensive necklaces in the world is a very rare 14k dark blue brilliant, pear-shaped and framed by white diamonds. Black pearls are thought to be some of the rarest gems on Earth being gathered in the French Polynesia lagoons from the Pinctada Margaratifera oyster.~

So they brought the necklace to the exhibition here in Prague. Interesting; a man sat on the rooftop of the Manes Exhibition Hall dressed in black. He exhaled looking at the starry sky thinking about the article he read that morning in the local newspaper.

Let’s see if you can catch me now detective, he thought putting the cigarette out. The noise of a siren approaching distracted him, so… the princess showed up! He got up and dusted his pants. Time to get to work!

The door of a black car opened and a young woman got off standing proudly in front of the opened door. She skimmed the area around the Exhibition Hall and walked up to the officer in charge of security.

“Officer Novak, how are things so far? Any movements?”

The officer turned around and looked at the young woman who had walked up to him. “Detective Hrabe,” he said with a light nod in acknowledgment. “He hasn’t made an appearance yet, but I think he will make his move soon.”

Hrabe Kaede nodded and looked at the huge building that stood proudly in front of her. The Manes Exhibition Hall was the most popular building in Prague and would host a variety of exhibitions. I will catch you this time Mr. SmartAss thief! she though as she walked up to the entrance hall.

“Officer Nozka, have your men checked the building and especially the room where the necklace is?” Kaede asked entering the building.

“Yes, Detective, we have placed surveillance cameras in all rooms as well as heat sensors as a tracking device…” he was cut off by the young detective.

Kaede lifted her hand to silence the officer. “Fine… Fine… but I will stay in the room were the necklace is,” she said and made her way towards the room where the jewel was highly guarded. I’m curious to see what he will do this time?

“It’s okay… I will stay in the room so you can all go out and rest,” Kaede said to the police officers as she walked in the room. She took a look around and nodded approvingly. “Are all the cameras pointed at the place where the jewel is held?”

“Yes, Detective,” a young officer said and then left closing the massive wooden doors behind him.

Well, there is no way in this room and there is certainly no way out, she thought amused walking around the room. “This time I outsmarted you!” she laughed looking at the jewel. This jewel is so beautiful.

“It would look stunning on you; if you wore it naked that is,” whispered a voice next to her ear.

Kaede jumped not expecting anyone in the room. She turned around and came face to face with the most handsome face she had ever seen before. The golden eyes that were looking at her with such lust made her shiver; she took a step back and moved her hand to were her gun was supposed to be.

“Looking for this,” the man chuckled holding her gun with one hand in front her face. “You’re slow Detective Kaede Hrabe!” he emptied the gun and threw it away.

Kaede looked at him lost but managed to recompose herself after a few minutes. How the hell did he entered, she thought looking at the ceiling. “Well, you are surrounded! So, it doesn’t matter what you do, you’re not leaving this place alive!” she said smiling smugly.

The man chuckled. “Let’s see how you will stop me Detective.” He laughed and walked towards Kaede. “I’m about to steal the rarest jewel in the world, so what will you do?” he said cupping her chin and lifting her head so he could meet her eyes.

“What do you think you’re doing,” she said and pushed his hand away. “I will call the guards. I’ve got you now!” she said with content smile on her face. She turned around to run for the door but the man stopped her before she could walk away.

He grabbed her waist and pushed her on one of the pillars that held the ceiling in the vast exhibition room. He positioned her hands on top her head and looked at her shocked face amused.

“You think you got me?” he asked sarcastically. “Those guards outside and the police won’t stop me from getting what I want,” he said lowering his head, “and neither will you.” He captured her lips in a hard kiss as he moved his body closer to hers.

Kaede’s eyes widened in shock; what the Hell is going on? She thought while her heart was beating so fast she thought she could hear it out loud. She gasped when she felt one of his legs come between her legs spreading them apart and pushing his against her lower private parts.

The man smiled still kissing the young woman who he had caged on the pillar. He moved his lips sensually over hers and bit her lower lip lightly. He pushed his tongue in Kaede’s mouth the moment she tried to yell for him to stop.

What on Earth happened? Kaede thought sliding to the floor. Did I just kiss a criminal? She touched her lips and glanced around the room to see where the thief was. “Shit…” she yelled when her eyes fell on the place where the jewel was supposed to be.

She got up and straightened her suite. “GUARDS!” she yelled and run to the door. “He managed to steal the jewel. Look everywhere, it’s impossible for him to get out of this building.”

Rarest jewel, what was he talking about? He just took the rarest piece… Damn how could I be so naïve! Kaede scolded herself running towards the surveillance room. I just hope they didn’t see the kiss; how embarrassing. Damn him… Tyki Mykk I will get you I swear it!

At Kaede’s apartment

What a fiasco! Kaede thought as she entered her apartment. “Argh…” she shouted frustrated. I can’t believe he got away with that jewel; she untied her tie and unbuttoned her shirt. I want to kill him…

Kaede walked to her bedroom and opened the closet taking out a clean set of pajamas. A nice hot bath will ease my aching body, she thought as she opened the faucet for the hot water to fill the tub.

She took of her clothes and looked at the mirror over the sink. She touched her lips lightly as her cheeks turned red at the remembrance of the kiss that Tyki Mykk the thief had given her. “Idiot…” she whispered annoyed and got in the tub.

She laid her body in the hot water bubbly water and closed her eyes trying to relax. This… is perfect! She thought amused. I have to think of a plan to get that jewel back; she furrowed her brows trying to thing hard. How do you find someone who doesn’t want to be found?

“You look scary!” a finger was placed between Kaede’s furrowed brows.

Kaede opened her eyes and was about to jump out of the tub if she hadn’t realized that she was naked. “Wha… What the Hell?” she said more surprised than angry.

A light chuckled was heard. “I told you I was going to come back,” Tyki Mykk said while he sat on the floor with his elbow on the edge of the bathtub. He rested his head on the palm of his head and smirked mischievously. “I really thought you would get up from there!”

How… What… Is he for real? Kaede’s mind was desperately searching for some kind of retort but she was unable to come up with something better to say then, “Drop dead!”

Tyki chuckled amused. “I see you aren’t going to scream or hit me!” he said with a devilish gleam in his eyes.

Kaede rolled her eyes and splashed water at him. “Get out before I hit you with something,” she hissed angrily.

“I didn’t like that,” he said and pulled the towel from its hanger. “I better put you to sleep now.” He got up pulling a handkerchief from his pocket and placed it over Kaede’s mouth.

Kaede felt something covering her mouth and panicked. She hit the hand that was over her mouth but she didn’t sucking in pushing it away. She struggled to get up and fight the intruder but she felt her limbs go numb quickly and her eyelids close. What the…

A few hours later

Kaede tried to open her eyes but she couldn’t move them as she felt something covering them. What is going on? She thought slightly panicked. She tried to get up but she couldn’t move her hands or her legs; at that moment she realized that she tied up and blindfolded.

Where am I, she screamed in her head not wanting to show any signs of weakness as she tried to figure out what happened. I am covered that I know. “Argh…” she growled frustrated. “TYKI MYKK… GET OVER HERE YOU BASTARD AND UNTIE ME!” she yelled irate.

“My my… what a foul mouth you possess,” Tyki chuckled. “I love a woman who talks dirty!”

“SHUT UP YOU IDIOT! JUST UNTIE ME!”

Tyki sat on the bed and leaned over Kaede’s bound body; he moved his hands to her face and pulled the blindfold away from her eyes. “You know… you look dazzling when you are mad!” he teased her taking the cigarette from his mouth.

Kaede closed her eyes fearing it was too bright but when she opened them she realized there was only the light of candles surrounding the room. I’m definitely not at home, she thought as she skimmed quickly through the room. She recognized some of the most famous and rare pieces that had gone missing in various places of the planet. How did steal all these wonderful things and never got caught?

“I see you like my collection,” Tyki said amused as he lit a new cigarette. “There is only one piece missing.”

“U.N.T.I.E.M.E.”

Tyki chuckled and got off the bed. He walked over to small table and poured some red wine in glass. “Instead of yelling why don’t you relax and enjoy yourself,” he said walking back the bed exhaling smoke.

Kaede closed her eyes and dropped her head back. Think carefully… how can I get out of this situation, she thought as she opened her eyes and looked at the restrains that held her posted to the bed. Is… is this?

“The Kings cape!” she gasped realizing that the sheet covering her was in fact the Kings Royal cape that was stolen a couple of months ago. “I’ll make you a deal,” she said after thinking quickly of a plan. “Return to me everything you have stolen and I will clear your file.”

Tyki laughed aloud. “That’s amusing, since you’re not in a condition to make deals!” he sat back in his chair and drank from his glass of wine while his eyes where fixed on Kaede. “I steal because its fun and it gives me something to do.”

“When they find out I’m missing they will hunt you down,” Kaede hissed annoyed trying to pull her hands or legs free.

“When they find out you’re missing love, I will have obtain what I’m seeking.” He got up from his chair and pulled the cape that was covering Kaede’s body. “That jewel looks perfect on you, just as I imagined.”

Kaede froze when she felt the piece of cloth leave her body. No… No… No… This is not good… How embarrassing! She closed her eyes feeling her cheeks heat up immediately.
