idk, I could see Allen deliberately using RP, what with how he tries so hard to project an image of A Nice Polite Young Boy Who Is Not From The Streets and all that.

That said, I'm not even sure what a Yorkshire accent sounds like, let alone how you'd pronounce it. And I know what RP sounds like but I can't do it myself at all. It's not like these sorts of things are just elementary; we can't all be a prodigy like James Marsters or something. So idk, I'd rather see a decently acted part in the performer's native accent (oh please god let Allen be decently acted) than one in a badly-done foreign accent, or even worse, a bad performance made worse by a bad accent.
