I'm pretty new to LJ (I know nothing about using LJ, so forgive me if I'm messing up and please correct my mistakes! If anything here is against the rules, tell me and I'll take it down...) and just joined this comm recently! I tend to lurk rather than post, but I'm working on a fanfic right now and I already have the first four chapters posted. I may as well upload them here too!

If the doujins are relatively clean (referring to content here ^^;) then I wouldn't mind looking at them. But I can't really say that I'll translate them (because of other doujins waiting for a translation). If any catch my interest, I wouldn't mind translating it for you (wouldn't want you to do all that work of cleaning and typesetting though, so you wouldn't mind if

add_ict_ion did the entire scanlation?). Besides, I'm sure a lot of people would love to see the raws even if there was no English scanlation. ^^

Some of them are very clean, some of them are not. I can send you the clean ones. Thanks so much! I wouldn't mind at all if you did the scanlation. The raws I have are already pretty good, so I don't know how much cleaning would be necessary.

Do you have an e-mail address where I could send them, or is there a way to do it on LJ? I've never uploaded anything to a downloading service, but if someone tells me how to do it I think I can manage! ^_^

We have an email stated in our profile, but uploading them onto a server would be much better than email. ^^ Just use mediafire or sendspace or any free service such as those to upload them. (Don't worry. There are very simple instructions there that you can follow there without having to make an account, so if you have any troubles there, feel free to tell me, and I'll help guide you along.)

Although if we do choose to scanlate any (can't promise you that we will though I am itching to translate at least one Tyki x Lavi doujin), I'd prefer the doujins in a size at least 800 x 1000. (Makes it easier for me to translate and lessen the strain on my eyes.) ^^

Also, there are different levels of 'clean' - do you mean clean enough that I could show my 5 year old nephew, clean enough to read at school, or clean enough to show my parents? ^_^

More seriously, I know that 'clean' means no body parts showing, but is some implied sexual activity okay? There are some doujinshi that are totally clean except for a frame or two - said frames have nothing explicit, but they're not totally clean either.

One doujinshi, for example, has some really pretty color pages at the beginning with only a bit of text, and though Tyki and Lavi are in bed together I wouldn't call it that dirty (even if they are unclothed and doing things with each other). Most of the color pages are close ups of their faces and such.

So, basically, how clean do they have to be?

Nothing R-rated. Basically no genitalia. They can kiss, can have implied sexual activity, but nothing extremely explicit (unless the story is incredibly awesome from what you can see, then I wouldn't mind the R-rated stuff but those doujins are usually PWP from what I've read ^^;).

There's only one doujinshi I have with any genitalia - the rest are all pretty clean. There is implied sex in some, but nothing explicit.

All right! I'll upload the doujinshi to mediafire or something and then post the links. The dirty one will be labeled so you don't download it, but I want to upload it for everyone else on the comm.

Actually, could you credit 'Misster Cackles' for the scans if you scanslate them? She's the one who sent them to me and I asked her if I could try and find a translator for them. She liked the idea and so I asked here. ^_^

Oh, and all I have is winZIP, so the files are being upload in .zip format. Will that work for you? (If not, Misster Cackles has winRAR and all I'd need to do is ask her to upload them from her computer.) If .zip files work for you, then they're being uploaded to mediafire as we speak! (checks) They're about 24% totally uploaded and I have 6 for your viewing pleasure! ^_^
