dgray_man | (no subject)

Oh my, first post to a D.Gray-Man community. It had to happen sooner or later, being that it's taking over my life. Underneath the cut are mild spoilers for the recent chapters. I suppose the rating would be PG-13? No more risque than the latest chapter was. Lots of pictures, so probably not dial-up friendly.

So first up is a tribute to Bookman, because he's awesomesauce and doesn't get nearly enough fanart. I think being a bookman would be one of the most amazing jobs, I would love every second of it. My house looks like Agent Paper's for pete's sakes.

The birds are magpies, I always thought of him more as a color inverted Chinese magpie that a panda, though I do love pandas. One of the reasons for this is because The Adventures of Lavi and Bookman would make a great story for kids. They would travel around the world, getting into trouble and learning life lessons...

NOT FURRIES. Just regular anthropomorphic animals, like in Aesop's Fables.
Now, this confused me a bit in last week's chapter.

Yes. The mask. THAT'S what we're worried about. 'Cause it's not like he's...yanno...mostly naked or anything. OR that he's a zombie. It's all the masklessness. If I knew who said that I'd noogie some sense into them. Of course, the fact that somebody even mentioned it makes me thing that it's a sooper mask like The Mask (You know, with Jim Carrey) except it makes you sane. But this brings me to...

B-b-b-beefcake! *w* I always suspected he would have a great body but I was never sure until now. I know it's the skinny guys that are popular nowadays, but I like my men with meat on 'em. Rawr. He's got a nice enough body that I don't mind his scars being physiologically improbable. (Hahaha his ankle's so ridiculously huge lulz) Don't mock the scrunchie thing. Scrunchie things are fantastic.

I hope at least somebody know what these quotes are from. Poor Kanda is shriiiinkiiiiing. I couldn't decide whether to make it Allen or Lavi's fault so I'll let you guys decide. Komui is super fun to draw, he's such a cutie-pie. Apparently his fabulousness turned his half of the page pink. It's kind of hard to see what he's saying, so here:" How's that for a slice of fried gold!"

Haha, most definitely. There were other scenes I wanted to parody but I wanted this art dump out before too many people read the newest chapter. I might still do more later.

Oh, I very much hope you do. Could toy around with "Return of the Dead, pt 2" due to the degree of nakedness in that one. I still don't think I've found anything comparable to "the graveyard makes me horny!" "SHUT UP! I'M BEING SERIOUS!"

Hee! Yes, there is an unending amount of hilarity to be had with zombie apocalypses. I hope this crack arc goes on for a while. :3

I'm torn on it, to be honest. But give me naked Cloud Nine any day of the week and I am a very, very, very happy boy. And with the spoilers for next chapter, seems exciting.

Oh, I know what you mean. I think everyone would benefit from more naked Cloud Nine. Especially naked Nine gnawing necks. Lawls alliteration.

I cracked up so hardcore with that. Dude, you have AIM or Yahell? I have the urge to talk about excellent movies from the early nineties which may or may not include the live action Super Mario Bros film while remembering the brilliance of Cloud Nine's bossom.

Ahhhh. We need more of that.

IAWTC re: The Mask. It's one of my favorite childhood movies.

It's fantastic~! Gave me so many nightmares, but I think nothing traumatized me more than the stop-start animation with "Long Ago and Far Away."

...now I REALLY feel old. That was one of my first dates with my husband. *facepalm*

Granted, I was in high school at the time, but still...

I'm glad there are other 'old' people here. It makes me feel better about being in a fandom directed at teenage boys...

Technically, Timcanpy gets next pick, Cross gets what's left after that. Hahahha! Activate Artbunny Beam! His cane would be topped with a book, and his bling would be made of bookmarks. He'd have thugged-out tattoo on his chest that said LIBRARIAN. The feather in his hat would be a writing quill.

Of course, although cos of recent chapters I'm not even sure of Timcanpy's gender/sexual orintation anymore. Pigtails are confusing.

Gah! Pimping Bookman sounds awesome! Is it ok if I have a go a drawing that, its far to lovely to pass up.

I'm pretty sure golems don't have a gender. Not that it matters, Tim's got a mouth either way. (Oh man that's so wrong.)
