Also - side-flap, Hoshino=female confirmed? The text itself seems to suggest that it was her in the photo, and that person looks really feminine to me.>_>

There're always have rumors about Hoshino's gender but if it's really her on the photo, well, there's no doubt, Hoshino is a girl (or a VERY girlish man xD)

Long nails and the fabric the person in the picture is wearing? There's no way any man who acts the way Hoshino presents in writing would own up to those...so if that's her in the picture (and I bet that cat's Koro), then she's definitely a woman.

I've been pretty sure for a long time that Hoshino is female, but this more or less confirmed it.

Besides, it can't really be anyone else, because that image panel is where the author is supposed to put a picture of themselves--drawn or otherwise. So it'd be pretty silly to put anyone else there.
