I’ve decided to start a new fanfic that I’ll be working on for a while. I've watched up to episode 90 of D.Gray man, and I'm so excited about this story!! I’ve decided to try combining to of my favorite anime in this one! D.Gray Man X Fullmetal Alchemist. I thought it would be funny to have Allen and Ed interacting later on and I can’t wait to see what comes about. I’ll be writing this one with no story planned out in my head so lets just see what happens with it!!
Since chapters are short I'll go a head and post two at a time with this one. If you want to continue posting on here please tell me and I'll continue, if not I'll stick with Fanfiction.net.
Chapter 1
The strangest things can happen in life and this is one of few that tops all. When Al and I trespassed through the gate to close it on the other side while Roy stayed in our original world something very odd happened. The gate pulled us through, yes, but it didn’t take us back to Germany of 1923. Instead the rocket we rode on and ourselves were thrown into another world and time. Everything seemed normal until we opened our eyes finding ourselves in strange and yet dangerous world.
I remember accidentally finding Alphonse inside the armor and becoming a bit mad at him for following me but that anger had faded quickly for I was so happy to have my brother with me. I couldn’t help but be glad that he had snuck on board at the last moment. My excitement for finding my brother died quickly when an exploding blast came from the front of the aircraft sending both Al and I into the wall behind us with an hard enough impact that knocked us both unconscious.
When I came to finally, Alphonse was still unconscious beside me. Before waking him up I gazed about the aircraft finding it in shambles. The ceiling looked like it was about to collapse in seconds. We couldn’t afford to stay where we were much longer.
“Al! Al!” His body shook slightly as his eyes slowly opened allowing brown orbs to gaze up at me confusion evident in them. I helped him sit up as he following my example and looked around the place before fixing in on me again.
“Brother...what’s going on? Did we arrive back in the other world?” I frowned not really knowing for myself. I shrugged as an answer. We had to go outside and find out for ourselves.
“I think so but we should get out of here. The roof looks like it’s ready to crumble any second.” He glanced upward and quickly nodded as he attempted to stand. Though it was short lived for his foot immediately gave way sending him falling back to his rear. “You okay, Alphonse?” He shook his head before looking down at his ankle. His fingers ran over it earning a wince from his lips.
“I think I injured it, Brother. It hurts.” I pulled him up without giving anything a second thought. I pulled his right arm over my shoulder and wrapped my other arm around his waist in order to help him walk out of there. He wasn’t exactly light but we managed a slowly but steady gate toward the outside world. Just as we exited the craft a crash came from inside signaling to the fact that the roof had just collapsed. We both breathed in a sigh of relief as we realize that we had been close to being buried alive but we had made it.
Once outside we gazed about finding ourselves definitely in a world other than the place we had originally been aiming for. The gate had dropped us in another world completely. Either that or we had been dropped in another area other than Germany.
We walked a ways from the craft and I lowered Al by a fallen tree so he could rest for a moment. I plopped down on the trunk and sat there for a moment considering what we should do now. The gate seemed to have vanished once we entered this world so once again we were clueless as to how to close it or go back through it. A few minutes later a movement from a distance followed by an explosion and a scream caught both of our attentions.
“Brother, what was that?” I didn’t answer his question for I had immediately rose to my feet and headed off in the said direction. Al quickly followed, his injured leg quickly forgotten, worry written all over his face. A gush of wind blew in our direction causing the two of us to be blown backwards and on to our backs. I sat up quickly and jumped to my feet when a strange thing showed in front of me.
A monster of some sort from what I could tell. It was round with what looked like a frightened clown’s face on the front staring down at us with a sad face. It was aiming some kind of cannon looking objects at both Al and I. I leaped up from my spot on the ground and pulled Alphonse up and out of the way as the creature shot at us.
Beams of light exploded from the cannons nearly hitting us but we ran to avoid it. I pulled my automail hand free so that I could fight if need be and I probably would have to. I continued to run from the creature which followed us reliantly firing those beams of light at us countless times. Suddenly Al’s hand was ripped from mine as I turned my head in horror to find him falling toward the ground. His hand reaching toward me as he fell reminding me so much of that horrific night when I couldn’t reach him in time. The night when Al and I tried to resurrect our mother.
He continued to scream my name over and over and my blood ran cold as I realized his injured foot had given out on him. I glanced over his shoulder seeing the monster approaching with terrifying speed. I thought fast and I would try to save my brother. I relied on one thing that had never worked in Germany.
I clapped my hands together and much to my relief blue and white sparks of electricity circled around me transmuting my automail into my blade. Okay, so if this works then this mustn’t be the same world that I had been in for two whole years. It can’t be. Those creatures weren’t in Munich, Germany so I must be in another world. One of stranger creatures then mine held.
I glared up at the monster as it came in feet of us. Standing in front of Al, I jumped up with my automail blade out and slashed out across it. I landed but my all the blood in my seemed to ice up again as Al’s frantic cries of fear reached me. I turned back toward him finding him cowering as the creature neared him. My attack had done little to no damage on him. I watched in pure horror as the creature cocked its cannons and aimed at my little brother preparing to silence him once and for all.
I ran over to Alphonse and wrapped him in my arms protectively. If one would be taken out so would the other. Al immediately started pounding on my chest screaming.
“You can’t do this! You can’t end your life and leave me again! You attempted this very thing with S-Scar r-remember?” His last words sounded like he was going to burst into tears any moment but he held them back. I held onto him tightly fearing that I’d loose him forever if I let him go.
“I’m sorry...Alphonse. There’s nothing I can do to stop it. I won’t runaway and leave you here to die alone either.” He continued to cry and beat on me...calling me an idiot for giving up but I was too stubborn to even realize that Al and I weren’t the only people here.
“BLAM!!”
“You guys okay?” A rather soft boyish voice asked us. It sounded about as young as Al’s own voice does. I pulled my eyes from Al’s face and looked up into another’s. He was a young normal looking teenage boy that’s face looked so similar to mine it nearly freaked me out. His hair split down the middle like mine but it was solid white like an old man’s yet he didn’t look any older than fifteen. His hair came to stop a little below his chin some strands almost to his shoulders. His bright blue eyes smiled at me but I could see a frown in them as remembered the monster. The only thing different about the boy was that he had a red scar that ran down his right eye with a star etched in at the top.
“Yeah...aside from the fact that that monster almost shot us to death.” He just smiled at my smart alec remark. I then noticed two other people running from behind him. A girl with violet colored eyes and green hair and a red haired boy with a eye patch over one eye like Mustang except his was on his left eye. The two stopped in front of us like the boy had.
“Sorry about that. This was a runaway from a train attack a little ways from here. Did the Akuma hurt him?” We stared at the girl curiously as she knelt down beside us checking out Al’s leg. She must have noticed our strange looks because she giggled slightly before glaring up at the white haired boy. “Allen didn’t you tell these two what that creature was?” He looked taken aback before shaking his head quickly.
He turned back toward Al and I smiling again. “I’m sorry. That monster that attacked you is called an Akuma. It’s basically a weapon summoned by the Earl of the Millennium when someone tries to bring back their fallen loved one. Instead of bring back the person the Earl summons them back as an Akuma and they kill and wear the person’s body that brought them back.” I looked at the strangely. Akuma? What exactly is this world we entered. How come I couldn’t even scratch this things yet this boy could? More and more questions seemed to pop up in my head as we sat staring up at the three teenagers in front of us.
The white haired boy grinned slightly before pointing at himself and the other two. “We’re chosen to fight these creatures by God. We are the Exorcists of the Black Order. What I destroyed the Akuma with is known as innocence and all Exorcists are compatible with a certain one like this is mine.” He grinned as he raised his hand showing a strange cross shaped symbol on his right hand. I stared at his hand in shock...it wasn’t even normal colored. His hand was a rusty red color with strange dark lines through it and black finger nails. He lowered his hand when he realized how strangely I was staring at it. “Sorry if it freaks you out.” I shook my head quickly.
“Sorry for staring. I’ve just never seen anything like it before.” He nodded before looking back at the other exorcists. These guys must be like Rose’s or Scar’s people with their beliefs of God and such. I’ll never understand all these old wife’s tales.
“Anyway...my names Allen Walker and this Timcampy.” He chimed pointing to himself again and this golden ball sitting on his head. Alphonse sat up straight completely ignoring the girl who was bandaging his ankle to look at what Allen had pointed at.
“What’s Timcampy? I’ve never seen a creature like it before. It looks like a golden ball with wings.” As if replying for itself, the winged golden ball flew from the white head and landed in Al’s hair earning a laugh from my brother. “He’s friendly anyway!” He giggled as it made itself at home in hair.
The boy giggled at the sight before holding his left hand out allowing the Timcampy to perch on it. “Well...he’s a golem. We exorcists use them to communicate and to record messages and such. Tim’s always by my side. My master gave him to me.” Al and I looked at each other strangely and then back at him. “So he’s not alive?” Allen just shrugged. “Sometimes I’m not to sure. He gets mad at me enough.”
I jerked my head back to Al when he yelped slightly as the girl yanked the bandage snug and then stood up helping my brother up as she went. The red head grinned and pulled me up by my automail hand earning a surprise whoop from him. “Hey, Allen! Looks like your not the only one with a strange arm, ay Bean sprout?” That did it again. Even after two years I still couldn’t keep from blowing up over someone calling me small.
“WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SMALL THAT YOU CAN’T SEE HIM FROM BEHIND A MICROSCOPIC MOUND OF DURT THAT BELONGS TO A ANT HILL!!” The red head immediately let go of my automail hand at my rant and backed up staring at me with wide eyes. I looked around angrily finding all eyes were on me. Allen looked almost as annoyed as I was at the red head but he had stopped to stare at me in wonder as I blurted all that out.
The girl walked over to the red head and whopped him lightly on his head. “Uh...Laavi. I wouldn’t say that in front of him anymore. Allen doesn’t respond quite like this boy does. Speaking of...we don’t know who you are.” She directed the last part at us. I scratched the back of my head with my hand out of embarrassment.
“Edward Elric and this is my brother, Alphonse Elric.” I said pointing at my brother who was using me as a crutch at this point. We’re alchemists.” The three looked at us strangely before the white haired boy spoke up once more.
“Uh...what’s an alchemist?” The red head laughed before whacking him on the shoulder.
“From what I’ve heard. Alchemy was practiced along time ago by scientists but their ideas were considered false and eventually there society has lessened down to few believers of its rituals. Chemists are the more common of the two now days. You two must be survivors of the old alchemist crew. It’s died out seriously now days. Though like I said there are still the select few that believe in it.” I just shook my head. Figures this world would see it the same way Alfons had.
“Whatever. Regardless...Al and I are both Alchemists and we can perform alchemy really well. I was a state alchemist before I left my home.” They just looked at me weird but they shrugged it off to introduce themselves now.
The red head approached the girl and grinned as he wrapped his arm around her earning a look of confusion from her. “The names Laavi and this is Leenalee. There’s another exorcist here but he’s still back at the train. We really should be heading back. I guess we’ll be seeing you around then, Edward, Alphonse.” The three bowed in unison before waving and saying there goodbyes. Al and I looked at each other in shock before yelling in complete unison.
“WAIT FOR US!” The crew looked at each other confused before Allen turned his attention to me.
“Is something wrong? It would be way to dangerous for you to accompany us on our mission.” We just shook our heads quickly.
“No. It’s just we don’t know this place. Allow us to join you for awhile.” Laavi just sighed before laughing lightly.
“Well it can’t hurt now can it? It’s no different than having the finders with us.” Al limped forward before nodding his head quickly for an approval from the three. Leenalee stood off from the side by Allen.
So they decided to carry us with them and to us it was a reliever because we had someone around that would explain the things to us that we didn’t understand of this world. Only thing is...what exactly is this world going through to have people like the exorcists about and what is this Millennium Earl that Allen spoke of. I thought Germany was weird but hell...this world is even stranger and I have feeling that things are going to get even more complicated around here.

Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Finding myself in Munich, Germany was weird enough but this tops the cake. On our journey back to Germany so we could close the gate, an unexpected event took place. The gate dropped us off, ship and all, in a foreign and unknown world with more dangerous creatures than I could imagine. A world where monsters called Akuma were created and people called Exorcists destroyed them. The three hadn’t explained everything to Al and I but I figured there was a long past of events and information dealing with these Akuma and this Earl, Allen spoke of, then what they had just said. Like our Homunculi, I’ll bet there’s more to this story than what I now know.
The three Exorcists led us back toward the train where they spoke of the attack. It was still sitting in its spot and I noticed a group of people and another person trying to calm them down. He was dressed similarly to the three we had already met. Black and White clothing dawned the four of them with a silver star like emblem on the right side of their chest. Each outfit was different, such as Allen’s was a long coat that was buttoned up and trailed down toward his feet, while Leenalee’s was a tighter fitting outfit with a miniskirt. You just bet Roy would go nuts if he saw her. Laavi wore what looked like a long tunic over pants with a hammer at his side, and the fourth wore a cloak like outfit that just added to the fact that he looked like the splitting image of what the Germans called a Vampire.
Allen walked lightly over to the Vampire looking Exorcist and grinned slightly as the other looked like he was having a headache. The fourth turned to look down at the smaller white haired boy and immediately started whining. His hands going in full circles as tears started flowing. My eyes widened as I watched in silence. I wasn’t expecting that someone that looks like this guy would be such a whinny baby.
“HOW COULD YOU THREE LEAVE ME LIKE THAT?! I WAS ALMOST AKUMA CHOW! MAYBE YOU REALLY DON’T SEE ME AS MUCH OF A PERSON AFTER ALL!!” Allen just stared up at the man. His face didn’t hold any sign of being shocked. It just held a remorse and saddened expression. Allen walked up closer to him and patted the other on the shoulder and spoke in a quite comforting voice.
“You know we don’t see you like that, Krory. Your a very good friend of ours. We consider you family. We’ve gone through this before. Don’t give up on us so easily.” The taller smiled slightly before whipping his tears from his eyes before nodding quietly. I watched as the two carried, Al by my side. Allen really was a very kind hearted person. It was shock to me that he was involved in what he was but he couldn’t have been much younger than I was before the incident with Germany. He must be around fifteen or so. He really is an amazing boy when you think about what he’s going through, yet he remains as peaceful natured as what he is. Reminds me of a bit more outgoing Al.
The newly arrived Exorcist managed to get the travelers calmed down and we soon boarded the train behind them earning a curious glance from the Vampire Exorcist. When we sat down was when he finally spoke. “Who are you guys? You’re not Akuma are you?” I sighed and so did the others.
“No...we’re not Akuma. My names Edward Elric and this Alphonse Elric, my younger brother.” I motioned to Al. The vampire looked pleased before replying back.
“The pleasures all mine. I’m Alistair Krory the 3rd. So where are you two headed?” I looked sadly over at Alphonse, whom just shook his head. The others saw our saddened faces and watched us in curiosity and a look of pity.
I looked up at Krory, who sat next to us, and Allen, Leenalee, and Laavi, who sat on the bench in front of us. “Well...you might not believe us but we weren’t originally from this world. Our world was known for it’s Alchemy, that’s why our story about being alchemists was so important. In all worlds, there is a gate and it contains passage way for to other worlds. At first we thought that the gate just linked our world to dark world, I guess you could say. People who died went through there. But I was pulled through there when I sacrificed myself to save my brother and I was thrown into another world during the time of 1923 in Munich, Germany. We had intended on going back to seal the gate but it through us here and now we’re clueless about this strange world.”
The exorcists seemed deep in thought, except for Krory who had his mouth open in astonishment. I glanced at his mouth and nearly jumped out of my skin as I spotted razor sharp teeth lining his mouth. This guy really was a vampire. Al spotted this as well and just out mashed our bodies together as he tried to back away. The pale exorcist looked at us strange before quickly shutting his mouth and turning to look out the window. “I’m sorry...I didn’t mean to scare you.”
Al got the courage to pull away from me and very shakily placed his hand on Krory’s shoulder. “I’m sorry. I just have never seen a real vampire like you before?” Something dawned on Alphonse when his brown eyes widened before he stared at the Vampire’s saddened eyes. “Um...I thought Vampires couldn’t go outside during the day.” Krory turned bright red before he started mumbling and placed his face in his hands.
“I’m not really a Vampire. Well I am sort of but...” A laugh interrupted him causing us to look over at Laavi. “What’s so funny, Eye patch?” Al and I stared at each other blankly. Eye patch? What else are they going to say strange.
“Krow’s innocence is a parasitic type just like Allen’s. Meaning, it’s part of their bodies. Krory’s innocence is his teeth. He sucks the blood from the Akuma there fore ‘BOOM!’ when he’s finished with one.” Another set of giggles earned our attention over toward Allen and Leenalee. They were setting there giggling there heads off at our expression.
“Don’t blame you for being freaked out by Krory. Laavi and I were scared stiff of him when we first met him. Didn’t help matters that he attacked what we thought was a human right in front of us.” Allen said giggling at Laavi’s face as he turned red.
“I wasn’t scared!!”
“Yeah, you were and you know it!”
“Was not!!
“Was to!!
“STOP IT YOU IDIOTS!!” Our eyes widened as small bald man with a spike of hair sticking straight up landed down between Allen and Laavi effectively whamming there heads down on the table as he plopped down from above. Leenalee just sat there giggling still at the too of them, her back up against the window.
“W-Where’d you c-come from you old panda?” I winced as the tiny man kicked the red head out off the bench and over toward another set of benches on the other side of the train. The old man turned to look me in the eyes and then Al.
“Just who are you two boys?” We sighed before glancing over toward Laavi who was finally recovering from the blow and coming back over to sit beside the old dude.
“Edward and Alphonse Elric. They’re from another world by mishap and now they’re stranded here with no clue as to what’s going on.” The others filled the old man with the information on us. He nodded in understanding before looking us over. He jumped up on the table and looked us straight in the face making me a bit nervous before turning to look at Allen.
“You know boy, you hold a striking resemblance to this boy. Give Walker here long blonde hair in your hairstyle and you two could almost be twins. Almost but not quite.” I glanced over at Allen. I had already noticed that but he just stared at the old man like he’d grown a thousand heads.
“I don’t look that much like him, do I?” He looked from the old man to me and stared at me for a moment before placing his knee up on the bench and propping himself up on it as he went in thought. “I don’t think I do, Bookman.” Bookman? Was that the old codger’s name?
The man just snickered before playfully whapping the younger on the head earning a startled yelp from the white haired boy. He just rubbed his head where the man hit him but he didn’t argue. “You are so dense boy. Can’t believe you’re the ‘destroyer’ when you always think inside the box like this. Go outside the box once in awhile.” The boy just nodded reluctantly but closed his eyes to rest for a few minutes.
The old man smiled anyway and reached out and held both Al and my hands. “We’ll see if we can help you in anyway possible. I’ll just warn you on one thing though. Being with us will be extremely dangerous. It’s not just Akuma you’ll have to worry about but the Earl as well. Always stay on your toes, alright?” We both nodded and gave the old man the most determined look we could muster, like we use to give Teacher. These...Akuma were different but not much from the homunculi I guess. I couldn’t hurt a homunculus at first either. Maybe in the future we’ll be able to deal with the Akuma. Hopefully...I don’t want to end up like a child sitting helplessly in fire while everyone else is doing there part to escape and save people.
The man seemed happy at our reaction and plopped down again between Allen and Laavi. “I don’t have a name but everyone calls me Bookman. Laavi and I are information gatherers basically. If you want information about anything try to find us if not talk to one of the exorcists.” We nodded in understanding before leaning back and relaxing, but mostly wondering what would happen next.
A thump woke me up directing me to the fact the train had stopped. Al was looking at me strangely as Leenalee and Allen pulled us up to follow them from the train and down the street after Laavi, Bookman, and Krory. “W-where are we going?” I asked the two of them groggily. Leenalee giggled again before yanking Alphonse forward faster so that the two were closer toward the other three. I was left walking with Allen walking in front of me. His hand loosely holding onto mine and I felt a faint blush flush my face at the contact. I quickly shook my head. Why was I blushing from holding another male’s hand and not just another male but a fifteen year old boy. I was eighteen years old now. I couldn’t afford to be messing around with someone underaged, especially another boy. I just wasn’t like that.
He turned toward me with a slight giggle and I blushed even further as he pulled to walk a bit faster to catch up with them. I stared at his smiling face for a moment and I could see faint signs of red flushing across his cheeks. He was in the same boat as me, obviously. Unless he just flushes out easily. Maybe that all it is.
We came to a stop a boat harbor and found myself staring confused. Now where are we going. Leenalee grinned at us before haling her luggage into a small slender boat. “We’re going to the Black Order HQ. My brother might know how to help you with figuring out what to now. Komui’s a big science wiz so I think he’ll be able to help. Just be warned he is a bit eccentric.”
We followed the five of them into the small boat amazing ourselves that that many people could fit in such a tiny boat. We seemed to sail on for awhile till Alphonse gasped and started yelling at me to look a head of us. What looked like a flat mountain was in front of us with a large opening that our boat would enter. A huge building stood up top that looked like it would go all the way up to the heavens. Our boat entered and we came to a stop at a dock inside.
The five jumped out rather fast and Leenalee and Allen pulled the two of us out of the boat. I blushed a second time from having had Allen’s hand in mine. I wish I could just quit that. They led us to a elevator that took us up to the building earning startled gasps from Al and I as we looked about the building finding hundreds of rooms that all looked identical from the outside.
“B-Brother...I don’t think you’ll want to fall down from here. So please don’t go causing havoc like you use to.” I turned to stare at Al finding him looking over a railing in the center of the room. I walked over toward him and nearly gulped as I found my self staring down what looked like a hundred foot drop. I quickly shook my head before pulling away and walking back over to the group.
“Well we’ll see you four later. Gramps and I have some business to attend to. Talk to ya later guys.” Laavi and Bookman parted ways from us to head down a separate path allowing us to follow just Leenalee and Allen. Krory had disappeared when we first got off the elevator so there’s no telling what happened with him. We soon came to stop in front of a door which Leenalee opened for us and we followed Allen into the room with her behind us. We glanced about the large room finding it just about devoid of people except for one figure at desk toward the center of the room.
Leenalee stopped at the person’s desk and sighed as she stared at the sleeping man. His long purple hair draped over paperwork and his hand was holding onto the handle of a mug that had a rabbit on the side of it. A white hat dawned his head and wore a large white scientist coat that resembled the exorcist’s outfits odd enough. “Honestly...” She sighed as she placed her hands on her hips.
Allen just laughed a bit as he walked behind the man’s desk and pulled his hat from his head allowing the long purple hair to fall out around his face. “Hey, you missed Leenalee’s wedding.” He whispered into the man’s ear. I nearly jumped out of my skin when the man’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as he leapt up from the chair sending Allen staggering back laughing.
“LEENALEE!! HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL YOUR OWN BROTHER!!” He cried out at the top of his lungs. “LEENALEE!! LEENALEE!! LEENALEE!!” He repeated her name over and over as big fat tears fell down his cheeks in waves. A foot came down hard on the top of his head sending him face down on his desk.
“Enough already. Shush, Brother, I’m not married. You just sleep like a log.” He looked over at her and more tears started falling as he ran and embraced her still crying. She looked like she had a bit of a bothered look on her face as she held her hand over her left eye in plain annoyance. Not another word was spoken from her. Obviously that was the orders way of driving the man nuts because I doubt Allen was the first to try that. I glanced over at Al and he had a nervous look on his face as he stared at me.
“B-Brother? You’re not going to treat me like that are you?” I looked at him like he’d grown another head before pouting and quickly shaking my head. He looked relieved. I sent him another look wondering asking why he thought I would act like Komui but he just shrugged. I stared in wonder at the brother and sister and a thought popped into my head. Did Komui have a one sided incest like obsession with his sister? He acted a bit too crazy around her for just sibling love.
“Brother, we have two guests here that we’d like to speak with you.” His eyes suddenly went serious as he straightened up and pushed his glasses onto his nose further. He turned to stare at the two of us and a curious expression crossed his eyes as he looked both Al and I over.
“Those are quite odd clothes you two wear. Where are you two from?” I sighed before explaining our long story out once again. He looked extremely intrigued when I told him about our alchemy and the journey between our world, Germany, and now ending up here. He had situated himself in his chair as he thought considerably for a moment. His eyes brightened as he stared at me.
“I think what we have here is an extremely wild incident but unfortunately I don’t know of anyway I could help. There is one exorcist that might know of something like this happening before.” A wave of hope washed over me. “We’ll escort you down to her chamber. Follow me.” He led us out the door and onto a flat elevator mounted in the center of the platforms we had stood on once before. That’s why there’d been a hole in the center of the room. It was so the elevator could go through.
We entered a huge room and I gazed about finding nothing of interest. I couldn’t find this woman either. I changed my gaze to Al finding a startled and frightened expression on his face. I didn’t get a chance to ask what was wrong for I was suddenly lifted off of my feet and I was left dangling in midair with something holding me.
“BROTHER!!” I turned my head seeing what was holding me. A white creature with a woman’s face and a long dragon almost lizard like body stood behind me. Fear took me and I immediately started struggling against her. My clapped my hands together and transmuted my automail into a blade and tried to attack but a strange force restrained my arm and I was stuck without being able to move. Why couldn’t I move?
“LET MY BROTHER GO!!” Al was screaming from below. I gazed down at him. His bright brown eyes had lost their normal glow. Tears were easily noticeable as they threatened to fall.
“THERE’S NO NEED TO BE AFRAID. I WILL NOT HARM YOU. THEY CALL ME HEVLASKA. KOMUI’S EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME BEFORE YOU ARRIVED IN THIS ROOM. YOU’RE FROM THE WORLD OF ALCHEMY AND THE COUNTRY KNOWN AS AMESTRIS. I REMEMBER A TIME WHEN SOMEONE ELSE ONCE ARRIVED FROM THAT WORLD IN THE SAME MANOR AS YOU TWO. HE WAS BROUGHT BEFORE ME COUNTLESS YEARS AGO BEFORE THIS PLACE WAS EVEN BUILT. HE DIDN’T HAVE THE LUCK TO BE CHOSEN BY ANY OF THE INNOCENCE I HAD COLLECTED BUT HE WAS SAID TO BE AN EXTREMELY POWERFUL ALCHEMIST.”
The creatures voice spoke calmly toward me wanting me to calm down. I felt my slowly being released and I returned it to my side, my flesh hand clutching it my shoulder as it had been pulled out of socket a bit and my shoulder seriously now. I stared up at her with wonder. So another person had come from my world once before. Along time ago. An alchemist no less.
I lowered my eyes as she lifted me higher a lot more gently than before. “S-so did this guy ever get home?” She stared at me for a moment her large lips unmoving. I finally realized that I couldn’t see eyes on her. So how did she even know I had been standing there a moment ago?
NO I’M AFRAID NOT. HE WAS KILLED BY THE AKUMA SENT BY THE EARL A FEW YEARS AFTER HE WAS BROUGHT HERE. WITHOUT AN INNOCENCE HE COULDN’T STAND AGAINST THEM AND HE DIED. IT’S SAID THAT A WOMAN MORNED OVER THE MAN. THAT SHE HAD FALLEN IN LOVE WITH HIM AND WHEN HIS PASSING CAME SHE SIGNED A CONTRACT TO BRING HIM BACK. THAT’S ALL I REMEMBER OF WHAT FELLOW EXORCISTS HAVE SPOKEN ABOUT HIM. WHEN HE WASN’T CHOSEN BY THE INNOCENCE HE WASN’T ALLOWED TO STAY HERE THERE FOR HE WAS EASY PRAY FOR AKUMA AND NO ONE WOULD KNOW OF HIS DEATH EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT HIS LOVER HAD BEEN A WEALTHY WOMAN AND WELL KNOWN BY THE ORDER. SHE TOLD US AND WHEN SHE WAS KILLED, EVERYONE WHEN INTO MORNING OVER HER.”
I sighed in disappointment. So the only person who had ever come here from our world turned out to have stuck here and then killed years later. That didn’t help our state at all. Now that just left us even more clueless about what to do. Surely the same thing that happened to him wouldn’t happen to us.
I just fretted the day when I ran into another Akuma when I didn’t have the power to kill them like I did the homunculi. I gazed down at my brother in sorrow. I would sooner die than allow Alphonse to be left in the hands of those monsters but if what everyone’s said is true than dieing alone would be worse than having Al die with me. He’d try to bring me back by agreeing to whatever this Earl was then we’d both be dead. I couldn’t let that happen but I didn’t know what else I could do. Everything seems so hopeless right now.
End of Chapter 2All right thats it for this posting. XD Also note that I'm just writing without going back and reading my story afterwards unless I have time. I don't have a beta either so I'm on my own with just the spell checker. Hope you enjoy and the yaoi will start to show up in the next few chapters.
Oh and here's a fanart I did of Ed and Allen! It doesn't tie in to the story as far as I know but I thought it was funny considering Allen ends up with long hair in one of the chapters of d.gray man. They looked way to similar in appearance there. So I had to draw a crossover picture of them.
This was drawn with a mouse so it's not perfect but I like it anyway!! Drawn in Manga Studio!!
