I've never really done realism properly, but I was inspired by the FFVII Crisis Core game... ^__^;; So I wanted to try to draw Lavi in that style (he's my favourite from D.Gure ♥ ♥ ♥)

Unfortunately, no, I'm in Malaysia actually! ^^; I doubt the postage cost would be worth it... But if you ever need help in making one, feel free to ask for tips, though I'm by no means an expert. =)

Aww man, that Timcampy is too awesome for words! Seriously one of the best Tim plushies I've seen so far >:Db! (the use of actual feathers and gold fabric really adds a lot :3)

I dipped into plushie-making a while back, aaand general rule of thumb, when you get into your comfy zone of making plushies, try to break out of the habit of using felt. It wears out really easily ;3; I'd recommend stuff like high-quality non-stretch fleece, microsuede, the works! :3

And wow I can't stop looking those feathers are AMAZING XD

Thanks! I'll keep that tip about the felt in mind. It was the best I had to work with, given that I absolutely hate hemming! Out of interest, what sort of plushies did you make? =)

It's funny, I actually didn't have enough material for the wings, so I was desperately searching for anything else that could work - and it just so happened I picked up those two feathers a couple of weeks ago. Happy coincidence much!

Now if only I could get Tim to fly...

Oh don't worry, microsuede and fleece don't fray at ALL. XD THAT'S WHY I LOVED 'EM ♥ (although there were some types of suede that would gave off flecks of fabric, which is why I stuck to fleece. much softer, anyway XD)
OH I just remembered the official name for nonstretch fleece--antipill! They should have it in JoAnn's I think :3

Hahaha, the key word here is 'dipped in.' I followed BabyLondonStar's tutorial (http://www.members.shaw.ca/plushie/ufoplush/) and created a bunch of bodies, stray legs, and disembodied faceless heads. XD Somehow I could never really stick to plushie-making, maybe because my machine didn't take well to sewing small things!

I lack concentration for a plushie of so many parts! And since my machine tends to rebel at small things too, I'd have to handsew... my stitching isn't too bad, but I tend to bleed a lot! *clumsy*

Ahh, the only handstitching I'm good at is blanket stitch. Everything else looks like train wreck of a thread-railroad -__-
