---
Christopher Evans, the Will of Noah, was beside himself with happy. He had a box of premium caramel apples, the huge ones that Noriyo Kyuuya, Illusion of Noah, loved. He also finished composing a sonata especially dedicated to the terribly tempting sibling of his, and hoped Kyuuya would like it. They had always shared a fine taste in music, especially in sonatas and concertos. While Chris’s talents lay with the piano, Kyuuya had retained his abilities with the violin and with his voice.
Lero had told him Kyuuya was in the music room. Christopher squared his shoulders; they had the house to themselves; their siblings were busy managing their ‘extra-curricular’ affairs in the outside world. Rhode was in her boarding school and won’t be home until much later. She was a bother that Chris wouldn’t mind being rid of; he seriously hoped one of the Exorcist generals would manage to kill her off already.
Hey, Kyuuya, I got some surprises for you…
He stopped by the door of the music room. He could hear Kyuuya’s violin, but blending with the beautiful music was the tune of an adeptly-played accordion.
Who? I thought we were alone in the house…
Chris had a hand on the doorknob and gave it a turn. Perhaps it was just an Akuma servant little Kyuu-tama had snatched from the hallway and forced to play an instrument to serve as accompaniment for his violin…
---
White smoke curled from the cigar Tyki held in between his teeth. He was sitting on the couch, taking it easy as he played his accordion to match Kyuuya’s superb violin; together their melodies melded beautifully and gracefully with each other, spiraling and resounding inside the oak-paneled room.
The door clicked open. Tyki turned his head and grinned just as Christopher entered the room, blinking politely at them both. Kyuuya was too busy playing his violin to pay attention; he didn’t bother opening his eyes.
Fun.
He watched carefully as Christopher noted the other details in the room, like a second, opened box of caramel apples on the nearby table beside Kyuuya’s violin case. Tyki hadn’t forgotten about that. It was fairly easy to earn yourself access to Kyuuya’s private chambers; all you needed was a box of the world’s best sweets. A box of authentic French dark chocolate would give one access to Kyuuya’s drawing room, while crisp, caramelized Granny Smith apples ensured access to his bedroom.
Tyki almost laughed to himself as Chris hesitated briefly, and put his box of caramel apples beside the one he brought.
1-0.
Kyuuya’s notes shifted, and Tyki sensed their duet coming to an end, and he easily played the part too. Together they ended their piece gracefully, and Kyuuya finally opened his fine gray eyes as he straightened his neck and lowered the violin.
“Oh. Hello, bean sprout.” He smirked.
The 14th, who was sitting beside Tyki by then, gave a resigned sigh. “It’s Christopher.”
Tyki put his cigarette to the ash tray and set aside his accordion. “Boring day, isn’t it, lads?” He grinned, leaning back on the couch. Kyuuya had moved to the table where his violin case and the boxes of sweets lay. He blinked and smiled delightfully at the second box.
“Oh? Who brought this?”
Chris raised a hand.
“Why thank you, bean sprout!” Kyuuya smiled, but he passed over that and picked up the half-eaten apple with peanuts from Tyki’s box and resumed nibbling on it.
“It’s Chris--- oh, why do I even bother?” The youngest Noah sighed.
“Because you’re an idiot,” Kyuuya sniped easily, as Tyki snickered.
Chris gave a wordless pout.
“Move over, bean sprout.” Kyuuya said as he squashed himself conveniently between Christopher and Tyki as he ate his apple.
And here is where I play. Tyki thought, leaning over toward Kyuuya and burying his nose into the other’s dark hair. The simple gesture elicited no reaction from the 13th Noah, though, and Tyki knew simple gestures such as hair-sniffing didn’t impress his terribly tempting sibling.
“What’s your shampoo today, Kyuuya?” Tyki inquired innocently, his right hand lightly on Kyuuya’s cheek.
“Shampoo? It’s lavender soap.” Came the prompt reply.
“Honestly…soap for hair…” Tyki whispered easily as his lips trailed to Kyuuya’s cheek. His fingers twined easily with the unnaturally soft strands, and he enjoyed the feeling of those strands against his skin. Especially when they’re damp.
“What are you doing?” Kyuuya inquired, raising an eyebrow as Tyki’s hand moved to his neck and gently made him tip his head to the side.
Tyki answered with a low purr as he kissed that unblemished skin. He could feel Christopher’s glare.
Oooh. The 14th is out to get me!
He gave Kyuuya’s neck light nips with his teeth.
The gesture merited Tyki a karate chop on the forehead.
“OW!” The Pleasure of Noah groaned, massaging the spot. “What was that for?”
“For being a horny bastard.” Kyuuya said, promptly jumping to his heels. Tyki was delighted to see the pinkish marks on the fair skin.
2-0.
Kyuuya picked up his sweets and his violin case and marched out of the room, his hair dancing behind him invitingly.
---
Christopher was quiet the entire time; he just sat there with his hands folded on his knees calmly. It was only when Kyuuya left the room that he turned his head toward Tyki Mikk, who was lighting a fresh cigarette stick as he chuckled softly to himself.
“…” Christopher just looked at his older sibling.
“Got a problem, Chris?” Tyki said easily as he puffed smoke rings into the air.
“You haven’t changed.” Chris commented, though deep inside there was a terrible urge to bury his nails into Tyki’s own neck and tear the throat out, and watch the river of red blood flow just for the heck of it.
“I am the Pleasure of Noah, you know.” Tyki laughed as he tapped his smoke by the ashtray. “And of course I haven’t changed. Why should I?” He gave Chris a wink.
Silence.
“Gods, that boy is beautiful.” Tyki said softly, as if in prayer. He crossed his legs and continued smoking, his eyelids fluttering low. “Even as an Exorcist, you know, he’d always been very attractive. I particularly liked his cold attitude toward you and your other scum for comrades. It was fascinating to watch him dance in the battlefield. You know – dance, twirl his swords like that?”
Chris was all-too familiar with the image. Even now, what with his acceptance of his Noah genes, Allen Walker’s every memory of Yuu Kanda’s deadly beauty and grace was as vivid as ever inside his head. How could he forget that dark figure, moving as if every step he made was a dance in its own, slashing and defending flawlessly? He would never forget. How many times had he watched and longed to hold that figure, even briefly?
His pathetic tactics came back to him. In Matel, his first mission as an Exorcist – how he shivered when the Akuma had slashed Kanda’s chest open; how hard it was to keep coherent thinking as he sought to keep walking with that raven-haired enigma’s hot breath warming his neck. And in the Ark, when as Allen Walker he knew perfectly the door led to nothing but he still opened it and let himself fall, and then grabbing Kanda’s boot and dragging him along. A finely-formed leg, Allen had told himself then. He remembered how he refused to wash that hand for three days.
Pathetic.
Abruptly he was aware of Tyki’s gaze on him. Christopher shook his head. “Yes?”
“You are probably the most selfish Noah that ever existed, eh?” Tyki laughed. “I know Rhode thinks otherwise, but I think I know the real reason why you ended up letting the crosses appear on your forehead.”
The Will of Noah made no move to answer.
“The bastard is still a bastard as he is still beautiful.” Tyki continued, putting his cigarette out. “It’s really pretty annoying how you can get rid of his clothes, kiss him like you’re dying and try to touch him like it’s all that matters and then--.” Here Tyki snapped his fingers. “…And then you realize that you didn’t manage to get rid of his clothes or kiss him or touch him at all; you’re back where you started, sitting across him, and he sits there with this perfectly knowing smirk, as if he understands you better than you yourself ever could. And then he stands up, and he laughs that annoying laugh of his as he walks away. Sometimes he’d flip his hair at you to add to the injury. When he does that, I swear I want to break his neck.”
It took Chris several moments to process that statement.
“How far did you get?” He asked, as he clasped his own knee tight to prevent his hands from shaking.
“I love the feel of his damp hair clinging to my skin, though.” Tyki answered elusively. “But then…ah. Who can say if it ever happened? Kyuuya’s whim is reality. And his whim shifts and changes every second.” Tyki grinned easily and scratched his cheek. “And how far did you get, Christopher?”
An incriminating blush appeared on the 14th’s cheek.
“I do not know.” He replied.
Tyki rose, laughing. He ruffled Christopher’s hair fondly before pocketing his hands.
“Well then, I’m not the Pleasure of Noah for nothing.” Tyki smirked. “Do me a favor, brother. Tell Cyril when he gets home that I am not eating dinner with the family. I hate this house. Good afternoon to you.”
It took Chris several minutes to calm himself. He rose too, after some hours, and went out, hoping to find Kyuuya. But an Akuma maid informed him that the boy had gone off to Spain to bike in Andalusia.

'Kyuuya'...? I read a fiction before with the same alias for Kanda, was it yours?

I don't know how to put it, but your writing style is almost illusionary.. I reread the story and I felt like I just wake up from a dream, was it your intention or is it just me?

The thing with Kyuuya, it's near impossible to tell when he is honest.

I loved the interaction with Tyki, and how centered the portuguse Noah is! He understands them better than they do themselves, probably. Very nice niisan, indeed.
Rhode should get her doll face scratched by Kyuu-tan one of these days. XDD
Ahhhhh, the efforst of the apples were in vain! T.T
Again, another genius piece. I am saving all of these in the pc and getting them in relative order, time-wise. They also have a great impact when you read them in one setting, let me tell you!
*look forward to more*
