[Question] - Is Noise Marie blind?

A friend of mine came with this doubt tonight after she read a fanfic that featured Noise Marie being blind but settled at the disclaimer that such issue was part of the canon.

Does anyone know if it is true?

Ah, I didn't know, I don't own said book (it hasn't come yet here where I live it seems). It sounds logic yet a bit cliché (the whole blind musician seems to be used and abused in anime and manga a lot).
