Speculation for 151

The opening line is what I felt after seeing 150. The level 4 reminds me of Road during the Rewinding Town arc. The question is: Would Lenalee be the 'Miranda' this time?

Also, what is Hevlaska's background? She seemed to have 'betrayed' her people, and Malcolm's sister is almost certainly one of the victims of the Innocence-implant experiments.

Comments?

I think hevlaska herself suggested the innocence implant experiments..

Thus I think Hitler had to give up his sis or mom for one such test..

Not sure what you mean by Lenalee being the "Miranda" this time. As in her Innocence is testing her and she will pass the test by being determined to protect everyone?

I think it's also likely that Hevlaska is a blood relative of Malcolm... possibly a great^n-aunt. And that Hevlaska may be the only one so far on whom the "implantation" of Innocence worked, which could be why they've been trying to catch lightning in a bottle again for so many years.

It could also be why Hevlaska is so ready to sacrifice herself for the others, as atonement for all the experiments that were conducted because of her. ...and now that makes me wonder, could her Exorcist ability have been "misdiagnosed" as well?

I don't think it's ever been mentioned, though Hevvy does have a human face and lately her look has become more ..."organic" (when we first saw her she seemed to have a snakelike body covered in scales, but in recent chapters, she looks more like she has a mane. Dunno if that's a continuity error or if Hoshino's trying to sneak in something.) Plus the only Exorcists we know of are all human. That doesn't mean that it's a mandatory prerequisite though.

*suddenly has a vision of an Exorcist squirrel* *dies*

I think Hevlaska might have killed her own relative in a past experiment (hence, the flashback with that one boy). She might also be related to Hitler!Man whose name I can't spell.

I also like his previous beard look as well; it looked better.

... If Komui dies I will strangle my cat. It's a good thing I don't have one.

SECONDED. Komui > Rouvelier!!!

Er. How does the level 4 remind one of Road in the Rewinding Town Arc?

Hrm. Something about Helvaska's appearance and the line about "so how is that different from what you did to your own people" made me think that she wasn't human, but I could very well be wrong. If she's indeed human, it could be that she's just got a very high synchro or a very odd Innocence form to change her outward appearance that much. So far, most of the bearers of Innocence retain a general human-look.

I think it's like Rhode because of how it's acting. It's just playing around with them, even though it could kill most of the Order very easily. And on this page (http://www.onemanga.com/D.Gray-Man/150/05/), it reminds me a lot of Rhode.

I see. The pose of the level 4 is quite like Rhode.

I think the implications of Hevlaska killing many, if not her entire, clan of the fallen.

You know how those failed experiments happened and no one really knew what happened? Like Lenalee mentioned she never saw that boy again?

She might be the one in charge of that.

I thought that Hevlaska could possibly be THE girl that they sacrificed.

*nods* I agree with [livejournal.com profile] idealistically. That boy told Hevlaska she's not a "saint", and Malcolm's female relatives were sacrificed to become saints. Maybe Hevlaska was the first girl to be sacrificed, and the other daughters sacrificed later on were killed by her (and became part of her?). So it fits into the "killing your own blood" part :)

I think 151 might be about her background, or at least we'll finally get to see Hevlaska fight (I'm really curious how she uses her innocence). To continue with the theory above, maybe sacrificing the daughters give her more power or abilities, which will show up when she battle the Level 4.
