But really, that was kind of... bland but I guess that is sort of a given since a lot of stuff starts off like that... We'll just have to wait and see.

And really, this wasn't as bad as the Prince of Tennis dub.

Uwah, I feel bad for saying so after everyone else's comments, but I don't think its that bad... just not great.
It was kinda what I was expecting from the dubs, oh, I don't know. I don't put up high standards I guess Dx
I guess I wish it was better, but it was like, two lines. I doubt it'll get much better, but... -shrugs-

This is littered with all kinds of my comments. But I thought I'd sum it all up with a basic, Funimation -knows- better then to shit on themselves with horrible dub's but the last two they put out they just couldn't -help- themselves. Between Ouran and This I think they are truly going to go down down down. The only reason I think Ouran even sold was because -Vic- was in it.

And I'm truly grateful that he didn't get a role in -this- oh my god. What anime -hasn't- vic Been in? But there's so many small characters and side characters and characters that haven't even been -cast- yet. Yes they did a horrible job -as- usual. Some day they'll learn that the fans of these animes intend for them to have a -greater- expectation then what they're actually showing us. Sometimes it feels like they're half assing their way through their lines.

I don't know what else I can say to really sum up the shitasticness that's going to be this dub. Only that I hope they learn to cast better in the future.

This isn't good at all, but I can't base everything on a few voices, have some hope people!! They might get better, we haven't heard much anyways.
Of course its been a few hours since I heard Allen's voice......forgot what it sounds like. It should probably stay like that for now. >_> (until we get a better clip)

Why is everyone spazzing out and damning this poor guy and the anime itself over 4 SECONDS OF DIALOUGE.

Jeez, give the guy a chance, all dubs are a bit shaky on the first episode ¬.¬ Even if it turns out bad what the heck is stopping you from switching back to subs? Its not the end of the world.

That being said, it's possible that the VA just hasn't "grown into" the character yet. It's possible all the characters will drastically improve over time. Maybe. Hopefully. *thumbs up* Believe it!!1 8DD *is shot*

I totally agree. I'm upset with the D. Gray-Man dub.
I especially hate Kanda's voice. It makes him sound like a 30 year old man!
And don't get me started on Allen. JUST DON'T.
