I wasn't bothered by the pacing so much, since I never liked the long drawn-out battle arcs anyway, and it got the point across that things were URGENT AS FUCK pretty well and man, we already lost Tokusa and Madarao? 6_9

Also, is it just me or does human Earl look like ~~crazy~~ Gary Oldman?

I was also disappointed by the lack of Link in this chapter. Since when does Link get lost?

I was hoping the Crows would last longer. Tokusaaaaaa....Maybe we'll get a little more Madarao?

Exactly. And Allen's the one who has the habit of getting lost. Not to mention Madarao and Tokusa are wearing bright red--how hard are they to follow?

He wasn't stabbed through the heart, at least, and has regenerative powers, so there's slight hope. I expect he'll die sooner or later, though (and please let it be later, Hoshino). Ugh, I wish Tokusa had survived longer than this, his personality was one of the only redeeming factors of this chapter, for me. Hahaha, I am so into Madarao/Link right now. I'm dying for some English-language fics....I would write some if a) I hadn't lost nearly all inspiration to write and b) I didn't suck at pairing fics.

Well, maybe not lovingly, since it's Link, but you know, in a concerned manner.

Tokusa was really growing on me too, mostly cause of this (http://www.onemanga.com/D.Gray-Man/187/31/) and this (http://www.onemanga.com/D.Gray-Man/187/42/). And as much as I love the Noahs, I wish the chapter was less about their backstory, because it makes my inner theological studies nerd cringe. o_e

As for the next chapter, I would also settle for Link ~~lovingly~~ concernedly cradling Allen in his arms, probably bickering with him, because they are my OTP.

Yeees, I loved Tokusa so much in this chapter, and then AAAAAARGH. Japanese manga artists + theology = crack, this is common. XD

I would support that development as well. *_*

...I do sketch Mada/Link, at least. Maybe I'll post a few sketches to that new Crow comm sometime.

My Japanese is conversational at best, and my reading is even worse, so I have to stick with English fics. ;_;
