Hm? I follow Bleach and it never felt rushed to me. It does have many characters though but I feel they have been introduced with time.

lol, I think it was probably closer to joking. But according to my friend, the womb thing in DGM 187 was apparently done in a similar way in Bleach.

Having male characters generate other characters and bring them to life could easily be considered to be Mpreg no matter how it's presented. That's probably where the reference was born.
