I've seen a lot of translations for this song, but I like this one best because it's one of the few that makes sense to me. x]

It's a really lovely translation! :D I actually really like some of the liberties taken such that the translation makes sense and reads well.

Like this:

"A thousand dreams waltzing gently through this world of ours
It's a dream, just a dream..."

If I'm not wrong, the literal translation of the text won't have the second line in it, but adding it makes sense especially with the line later that "all of our hopes fade away into the earth" (:

And also this:

"If I leave please never stop smiling for me"

Haha, I'm not sure if this translation is taking it a bit too far (cause I don't remember anything about the singer leaving the child) but as an aspect of interpretation, it does make sense that the singer is leaving the child and hence wants to leave the child in capable hands (:

So anyway, yesh, lovely translation! May I know if you translated this yourself or found it somewhere? (:
