Does anyone have fanart / doujin / icons (include credit plz) of Doug the Finder from the second novel? I do have the insert from the novel unless there's more official art?

Aside from the novels, Doug gets a very brief appearance in the D.Gray-man manga itself. In that dream scene where Road's messing with Lavi's mind, Doug is one of the many characters who she gets to attack him. He's hard to see, especially since everyone's looking rather zombie-fied, but he's there.

As for icons, there are very few of them in existence. (The few ones I've been able to find around the net and used for a roleplay account are all here (http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=findingtrust).)

But, there is fan-art of him! I'm sure I've got a bunch of Doug fan art saved to my computer from various sites. I don't know who the fan artists for them are, though, since I neglected to save their details. I can send those pics to you if you like. It just might take a little while to get them together.

I've tried iconing that scene before, but even the HQ scans aren't good enough to use. :( But you might have more luck than me.

No worries, and I'm sorry there are only three pics. I'd hoped there would be more, but even my rabid Doug-fan powers have only managed to locate those.

Doug is a great character! It's a real pity that he was effectively only in that one novel. It was a good story, but the lack of more Doug is tragic. DGM lost its most perceptive character; ;_; He could have been analysing everyone's personalities, damn it. *bitter, me? surely you jest*

Isn't he! In some ways he's even better than Lavi in reading people. Just from their first meeting Doug already was wary of Lavi. And it's probably him that first sends Lavi spiralling into the loss of his certitude over becoming a Bookman's Apprentice.

And you know, he's REALLY made for being a Finder. He seems so sweet and harmless at first but when he's asking the questions, he knows how to probe with his inoffensive attitude, he knows when people are hiding things, and even Lavi, the Bookman's Apprentice, and Bookman himself leaves the questioning to Doug! Doug is one interesting character. Warm, friendly, perceptive, but also really shrewd.

Fangirling over Doug when I should be revising for exams? N-n-no... *reluctantly goes back to studying*
