I just finished reading and it's the first time a manga moved me. Damned thing, I want the next chapter now (and overdose myself with fics in which Kanda gets tons and tons of hugs from anyone, it doesn't matter).
As soon as I calm down I will promptly humilliatepamper the man with fics about Christmas and Tiedoll giving him an awful yellow sweater that itches but he made with tons of love for his student <3
Yup, he needs more gay sweaters and hugs, and probably Tiedoll slipping in his bedroom to cover him properly with the bed sheets so he doesn't get a cold and I would probably throw in a Lavi or an Allen or a Lenalee for some cuddles
I can't get over how sweet Alma was. Man, no wonder Kanda just went all pissed off after meeting Allen, because at the start Allen was a lot like Alma but now of course he's not, Allen is tougher.
I don't think Kanda having to kill Alma broke him, it made him more angry and forced him to withdraw into himself even more than he'd been before. I think he would have run away from the Order a long time ago, only he met Tiedoll and Mari and Lenalee and he didn't have much of a choice, he formed bonds, no matter how much he hates the idea.
With Alma awakening, I think Kanda as a character will change, he's already changing but this is going to force him to question himself and the reasons why he still fights.
It's a very...weird and depressing and "I-cringe-so-much" chapter.
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the idea that...what? These experiments are really laboratory-babies? All the "second exorcists" were really created or just tampered with?
Because the mention of what a mother and father is, and the presence of that ghost-like woman ...it makes my head spin.
*sad sigh* I am really looking forward to see what Allen's reaction will be.
I know! They're clearly so awesome that their kid had to be just as awesome as them, if not more so. But I'm sad that they're dead. :/ They were so cool.
