GASP. A mod post?! My goodness. It has been a while, hasn't it I suppose we should get get down to business, right? orz ;;;
→ First of all, I offer my most heartfelt apologies with regards the lack of open modly presence on this comm. This absence is something that has needed to be addressed for sometime but simply kept being pushed to the back burner over and over until now. There is no excuse that I feel I could state publicly and feel comfortably explained or did justice to the reasons behind this public absence, however I can assure that I have not fully neglected this comm and had been active and continuing working as a "ninja mod" for some time. But since I am now the sole mod of the comm it is about time I stop acting as "ninja mod" and started acting as real mod.Oh god, the responsibility! I can't live at this speed! I NEED AN ADULT!!
Once again, apologies for the silence on my end.
→ Related to the above, if anyone has attempted to contact the DGM-mods via e-mail there has sadly been an issue of access to the old email account and thus the messages will not have been received by me. As such if anyone needs to contact me regarding anything to do with the comm please us the following email address:

So, now that's done let's get onto other things...
→ MEMBERS: It's (obviously) been a while since I've commented on our member count but... Wow. We are closing on 3,000 members at present and that really is quite stunning. Thank you all so much!
→ TAGS: The majority of people posting have been great in enforcing the tagging system to make sure posts and their content is easily accessible by members and passing visitors alike. I have been working to add/edit tags as and when needed and I am always so surprised by how few posts I have to go back and add tags to. I can not stress how very awesome you guys have been with regards this rule. Thank you all again and keep it up. andkjan;jksnakj ♥
→ SPAMMING So, here's where I wag my finger some. Please do not spam the comm.
This comm is certainly for fan interaction, sharing of fanwork, ideas, discussion, interesting finds, etc. However please be considerate and thoughtful when you post. For example, if you have several fics you want to share please do share them, but don't post one after another with a new post for each fic. Either share all of them at once in a single post, or else wait at least a day or two before posting the same thing.
This is not to say that you can't make two/more posts a day or whatever (e.g, if you share your own fanwork then stumble across some interesting DGM news that you want to share, or whatever), just give a little thought to your posting, okay?
If I see or am alerted to spamming please be aware that, while I will not go deleting posts left and right without discussion, users who are spamming do run the risk of their spam being removed for the comm. If after warnings have been given to users regarding their spam conduct then repeat insistences of spam after may lead to more serious results. But I am hopeful it won't come to that.
→ So finally, there will hopefully be several changes and revamps going on here and there soon. I will do my best to keep you all informed as and when I do this. Watch this space, as they say.
If there are any questions/concerns/suggestions/etc. please don't hesitate to bring them up :)
