This community aims to bring together the writers and beta readers in the DGM fandom! If you're a bored beta with nothing to do, or a fanfic writer that only wants a small drabble (or a novel length fic!) checked over, well, just come here and look through the available offers until someone catches your fancy! XD And if that doesn't happen, you can always post your own entry~

This community was created just today, so it has no members yet. But if you think it might be useful, please, do join! ^^

Umm.... may I ask what is a beta? Lol, sorry if its a stupid question ^^;

oh, of course. XD it's not a stupid question. A beta, or a beta reader, is someone who read's someone else's fanfic before it is posted and fixes things that are wrong in it - like spelling and grammar mistakes - and points out to the author if there's anything wrong with the plot, story flow, characterization, or anything else, really. Some betas only fix the typos and other such mistakes, other are better (or prefer to) advise the authors about the characterization and the plot and the rest. Of course, what each beta does depends on the person. ^^

I think that explains it fairly well... but if you still don't understand, just ask and I can try again. XD
