Hey guys.

It's come to my attention that, amongst discussion related to the earthquake in Japan, some inflammatory comments are emerging.

Unfortunately, in the wake of this disaster I have seen a lot of troubling comments pop up in various places. It's impossible to say for certain which sentiments are just trolls and which are genuine but ethically troubling. It's a very blurry line, I realise, but I do not want to be the hand that arbitrarily decides what is trolling and what is an unpopular opinion.

Instead, with regards to this post, I have frozen all comments and offer my apologies to the original poster for doing so, but I do not want to see this community become a place that becomes a site for inappropriate and/or troll-like remarks in the wake of this disaster.

I do understand and appreciate that people are concerned about the safety of people working in the animanga industry, but I do not think that dgrayman is the appropriate place to begin discussions or rumour spreading in this manner, and I will be temporarily disabling anonymous commenting on the community as a result.

Please do continue to make use of the projects that are raising money for Japan like DGM fans' Icons For Japan threads, commissions, buttons, and so on. It's okay to continue posting links to such projects, but please refrain from using this community as a forum for speculating about the life or death conditions that people in Japan are currently struggling with.

If anyone wishes to contact me directly about this please do throw me a note whenever.

Thank you. I got rather annoyed about this one post - spreading rumors of THAT kind is nasty (and unless there's a link to an officila news page it IS a rumor for me and a nasty one.)
