I regret that I'm not as up on the manga as I should be, so if my question has already been answered to it, please point me in the proper direction ^^;

Here it is: Can an equipment-type Fall?

My thoughts on the matter are yes, since they still have a connection with their Innocence, though it isn't physically part of them - but I don't know for sure, so I thought I'd seek out people more knowledgeable than myself. ^_^

Anyone can fall. It's basically whether they deny their innocence/duty or not.

I was under the impression that anyone whose synchro rate fell to 0% or below became Togaochi, regardless of Innocence type (since non-Compatibles don't have an Innocence type at all and they can definitely still go Togaochi...)
