To be honest, I like all the characters. XD They all have their unique charms. However, if I had to pick one... And only one...

It's a tie between Allen and Lavi. Allen, because he's just a sweet, caring boy. And he's British! *shot* Not to mention how awesome he looks with long hair. Ahahaha, I'm not superficial. Really. >>;

Allen's totally sweet (and very nice!), which makes him the perfect protagonist.

But I personally love Lavi. :)
