Reverse V1 Translation

(I remember a few weeks [or months? My vacation threw off my sense of time...] ago, someone was talking about how no one had translated the Reverse novels. I just picked up the first volume yesterday, and am planning on translating it. Are people interested in me posting this? I have no idea how fast or slow it'll be, since I have a few other translation projects to work on and my Japanese isn't terrific anyways, but it will be done.)

(I wasn't sure how to tag this, and if this isn't allowed feel free to delete.)

That'd be awesome if you did! It'd still be nice to at least have an idea of what's going on.

Actually, I think Timcampi.org has translated most of vol 1, and a user posting on dgrayman and dgray_man has done vol 2, if I'm not mistaken :)

It never hurts to have more than one interpretation, though! Reading more than one version of a work in another language can help us understand the original version better, or so my lit teachers always said, lol. I'm sure people would love to see your version.

I would LOVE it if you did! <3 You have seriously no idea how much I'd love you to death. @.@

I know! There is so much information in there I NEED to know about! xDDD And since I'm not skilled like some people, I can't read Japanese in the least.

Then you're already ahead of me. xD And dude, who wouldn't want to learn Japanese through D.Gray-Man? I mean really. xD!

Well, Timcanpi.org had done the translations on the Kanda and Allen part of the story and no more. If you wanted to continue from there (Lavi's story and so on if there's any more) or start from scratch, it'll be interesting.

I translated the Earl's and Rabi's stories from the Reverse 2 novel. The final part, with links to the others, is here. And someone at Timcanpi did translate parts of Allen and Kanda's stories from the Reverse novels, although I haven't read them and don't have a link handy. There's an obscure translation of the third story from Reverse 2 in the journal entries here (http://dgraychara.deviantart.com/journal/?offset=5), although the English is kind of questionable.

As far as I know, nobody has translated Bak's story from Reverse 1.

Also, there are no signs of the Reverse novels being licensed.

There's everything I know about fan translations of the D. Gray-man novels. XD Good luck if you decide to translate one of the stories!

Um. Did you end up translating this? 'Cause I can't find the post anywhere . . . I'd really love to read it! And apparently I'm waaaay late to the party, 'cause timcanpi.org no longer exists. lolsob

I really, really love Doug, and Lavi is love. So. Umyeah.

Oh, cool! YAY! :D I had forgotten about my comment here oops Yeah, that's school's favorite thing, imploding. It's doing that right now, actually . . . I swear it gets off on it.

Thanks! I'll be waiting~
