Shocked: D.GrayMan Cosplay in my COUNTRY?!

To start this: I swear is related to DGM!! *check title please* 

This weekend I had the shock of my life.

I never saw it coming. HELL, I can't believe it, even now!! 

July 20th, 2008: AnimeExpo in the capital city. 

Where do I live? *rolls eyes* Suffice to know that this was the first AnimeExpo EVER DONE in FOREVER!!! 

I got my ticket and entered the building, knowing beforehand the whole thing was going to be a very commendable effort from the guys behind it (a group of some 15 college girls and boys) but that, since it was the first AnimeExpo ever done, it was going to be, well *snorts* kinda not like the ones you guys have in USA, Japan, Singapore, England etc etc etc.


 
So: lots of people buying/selling shirts and bag and cups and keyrings. 

More people selling dvds, cds, posters, action figures.

NO ONE selling doujinshi, nor even manga. 



And then, I blinked and blinked and blinked: COSPLAY?  COSPLAYERS??!!! 

I smiled like a loon at the cosplayers. There was a Misao, a Kenshin, a Kakashi, a Naruto, a Sakura Card Captors, several kitty-girls and several Lolitas. 

   

BUT THIS IS WHAT NEARLY GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!!

Gracious goodness!! DGRAYMAN COSPLAYERS?!  *O_O*  Kanda! Lavi! Allen!!

       
    

I ended up stalking them and pestering them until, well, we got friendly and exchanged mails and all that jazz. I was SO DAMN HAPPY!! To think that people here is starting to go around doing cosplay....I feel so proud!! 

I wish I could also do cosplay! *T-T*

PS: These 3 same cosplayers will participate in another anime festival called Yume that will take place in August, in my city again. For that time, they will cosplay 2 fandoms: Vampire Knights (Kaname, Zero and Yuki) and D.Grayman again. Suge-!!!
 

Ps 2: I mean, I've seen better cosplayers alright, a particular group of girls here are regulars at posting their Cosplay Pics, which are my top top top favorite of all the times.  Points at
