Heart Theorizing

Warnings: Spoilers involving things to do with the Heart of the Innocence (yes, this is old), the Rouvelier experiments, etc. I'll say spoilers up to the Zombie arc's end, just in case.
Alright, so I'm sure we all remember back when the Earl said he knew the Heart was awakened, and that led to a flurry of theorizing on the main DGM community. I'm not sure if you all remember that a lot of people theorized that Komui had the Heart, but didn't have much of a good reason or explanation to back it up. At the time I thought the idea was silly, and my theory was that Miranda has the Heart, but I was just thinking, and now I'm torn between Miranda and Komui. Here's how Komui having the Heart could make sense:
The reason Lenalee and Komui were initially separated was that Lenalee was compatible with the Innocence, correct? And obviously, they were separated before Komui was Supervisor of the Science Department. Rouvelier's experiments didn't end until Komui became Supervisor, according to the manga. Also, many of the targets for Rouvelier's experiments were family members of people who were compatible with Innocence. I noticed that and said "why Komui was safe from the experiments is beyond me", when a possible explanation hit me; he wasn't. He was experimented on, and he didn't die because it turned out he was compatible. And not only was that the case, but he had the Heart.
That leads to the question of why Komui is the Science Department's Supervisor and not an Exorcist. My explanation for that is this: the Order knows that Komui has the Heart. They simply pretend to still be looking for it and pretend to be unable to tell if an Innocence is the Heart to keep the knowledge that it's been found hushed up so it'd be less likely to leak to the Noah and the Earl somehow, and then they'd keep Komui safely hidden away within the depths of the Order.

the biggest clue we have is that the heart is awakening. we know that the 14th is coming to life inside of allen, so that could point to allen being the double whammy, but if the heart is really someone else, it would have to be someone who wouldn't tell anyone what was going on. that could point to lavi... it could still be miranda, and she just doesn't know what's going on. it could well be komui, who would definitely not tell anyone.
however... i don't know it the Order knows. if they did, seems like... they'd react differently, i don't know. it's possible, but i think it's more likely that if komui is the heart, he's keeping that information to himself. after all, he doesn't trust the order, and the only way to know that any piece of innocence is the heart is that all the innocence would be destroyed if it was. so until the heart awoken, there was no way to be sure which was the heart.
as to whether he was experimented on... that's possible. it seems more like he was running the experiments, rather than being experimented on, but. one never knows for sure until it's canon. ^_~
frankly, i think komui being the heart would be an amazing turn of events, but. =S who knows!

Keeping such information to himself puts the Exorcists in danger, something he hates to do since he clearly cares deeply about all of them. It also seems stupid to send your only effective soilders(remember, Innocence is the only thing that can kill Akuma or Noah) into the line of fire for something you already know about, espcially when there are so few Exorcists to begin with. Its seems like a huge waste of effort and resources.
I think the reason he wasn't chosen for experimentation is becuase they wanted to use children, thats just the impression I got though, its not solid proof. He is the Supervisor because he worked REALLY hard to be the best he could possibly be, he wanted to be with Lenalee again and keep her safe, the only way to do that was not only join the order but be in a position of power and authority AKA Supervisor.
Anyway from what we know about the Heart is seems to be keeping itself hidden from not just the Earl but the Order as well. Whatever it has planned it appears to be soon for it to reveal itself.
