A question

I know this may sound a little stupid. But for curiositiy's sake, is there ever any  mention at all as to wether Komui Posseses innocence? I just find it a bit  odd that he'd have such a position and not have it.

No, there's been no mention at all that Komui has an Innocence.

But I think the fact that his sister is an Accommodator may have inspired him to study all he could about Innocence, so he was better prepared than most to assume leadership of the Black Order.

:edit: plus he has Hevlaska around to advise.

Also I think if he had Innocence he'd be out fighting and not in a desk job...

I've never thought about that before, but, I don't think he does.

I highly doubt it. I find it super hard to believe that they'd let him sit around in the Order all day if he was an Exorcist, considering how few Compatibles there actually are.

if he was compatible with any innocence, he'd have to be out in the field, fighting. they only have so many weapons, after all. it's true that hevlaska doesn't fight, but she's innocence storage and protection, so.

komui and lenalee's parents were killed by akuma, though (possibly while researching them??? i think...) and lenalee, of course, was taken away from him, so... it's my assumption that komui is just exceptionally brilliant and highly, highly motivated to rise through the ranks so that he can be in a position to help and protect his sister, and all the exorcists, by extension.

None. It was already mentioned that Komui had gone learning everything he could about Innocents so that he could be part of the order so that he could still be with Lenalee. If he had Innocence from the start, he wouldn't have needed to do all that and just join the order with Lenalee.

Well, seeing that Hoshino-sensei has gone wild on us, maybe she'll add in the premise that the Innocence chooses its wielder in more ways than one. Then, Komui somehow managed to make the cut, making him the latest addition to Allen and his gang.

Physically, Komui IS quite ok for combat duties. It's not hard to envision him doing a more relaxed version of Kanda.

I don't think that he possess one, or else he would be fighting alongside his sister. However you're right, he deserves an Innocence *pictures Komui as an exorcist* KYAAAA *fangirls*
