Help a girl out?

So, I've scoured every inch of the Shueisha website, and damned if I can come up with a mailing address for Hoshino-sensei. As I'm in Japan and can do so in a timely fashion, I want to send her some get-well-soon wishes along with some omiage from Miyazaki where I live.

Anyone got a workable address where such things can be sent? AND, if you guys want to include your own well wishes to Hoshino-sensei, then feel free to reply to this message. When I send my package, I'll print them out. Don't worry about translating into Japanese if you can't.

Thanks!

Umm... I'm not sure they'd actually publish her address or anything.. seeing as, well.. there are things such as stalkers in the world.

Perhaps mail it to the publishers and ask them to forward it..?

I think we're on the same wave length or something like that ^^;;;
I was just about to post asking for the same thing ^-^

If you can get that sent, that'd be very great! I really wish her to get well soon, and I'm sure many others do too. And she'd be glad to know people care, right? Unless they only care for the manga, which I think is stupid. Never mind the manga as long as the person sick gets better.

Fans usually send their letters and packages to the shueisha company... addressing the package for certain mangaka? Well, I'm not sure myself. :(

I'm sorry. According to my resources, it's all pretty much:

〒101-8050
東京都千代田区一ツ橋2-5-10
集英社
週刊少年ジャンプ編集部
「Insert Topic Here」

I think. The latest show of Hoshino contact I could find was in chapter 176, page 12 on the right edge. Well, it did say 星野桂先生に応援のお便りを! so it wouldn't hurt to try that.

And my message for Hoshino, if it's not too rude in the eyes of the Japanese:

Dear Hoshino-sensei. If you die, I won't turn you into an Akuma. Because then we'll have to fight the Exorcists and eat people. That would be terrible.

Please have a refreshing and speedy recovery. You've done a lot for me with your manga so I wish you the best happiness in life. YK

This is probably one of the most embarrassing things I've ever said online, but I'm too communication-awkward to write to her myself. That said, it's up to you whether this is a good idea or not.

Thanks.

That's the Shounen Jump mailing address. With that said, that's almost certainly the best way to reach her; I don't think they'd have published her home address, what with her being so secretive that people were unsure of her gender for ages.

*was totally planning to mail her a little get-well thing, but if someone in japan can do it... :3 writes her something now*

If you succeed! And good luck of course!

Dear Hoshino -sensei
Make sure that you are following doctors orders for a speedy recovery, and feel better soon! Lots of love from your American fans! Good Luck!

Hmmm.... when do you plan to send this? And do you think you could add a small picture in your package?

I'm not so good with words, I'd feel more comfortable drawing a little something with a get well note. : 3

Ooh, ooh! If you can, please stick my note in there, too. (feel free to change it to make it more Japanese-correct/polite/etc. ^^;;)

Dear Hoshino-sensei,
Please get well soon and I wish you a very speedy recovery! It hurts me to learn that you are sick. Even though I am in America, I love your manga! Just relax because we -the fans- still all love you very, very much! Take care of yourself first, that comes before anything else.
Take care and best wishes!

It's be awesome if you would also add this.

Dear Hoshino-sensei,

It probably sucks being sick - well, of course it does. So I really hope you get well soon. And try not to overwork because it's good to just relax at times. In any case, take care and rest well! ♥

Best of Luck with the message. I'd appreciate it ever so much if you'd add this:

Dear Hoshino-sensei,

I wish you the best of recoveries! In the meantime, curl up with a warm drink and a good book and take it easy--we in the US hope the best for you!
