Timcampy Tattoo

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo of timcampy on my leg. The only problem I have is I can't find pictures that are bigger than icon size and clear so I can show my artist clearly what I want so he can draw it up.

Does anyone have any pictures of Timcampy or know where I can find some?

And does anyone know of anyone with a D. Gray-Man tattoo? I'd love to see it, if so. :)

do you know if they have any photos online of their tattoo? my main concern is since it's mostly yellow/gold how it will look. i'm really pale [think really really pale, white ink shows up really well on me] so i think that stands in my favor though. :)

yeah, i have 5 tats, 3 transformers logos [hah] and a bleach 'soul release' skull/flame one on my wrist as well as an older one i got that isn't fandom related.

i already have the shop/artist picked out, since they did my other four tattoos and are going to touch up the one on my wrist at the same time.

my main concern was with the colour, because i've never seen a mostly gold/yellow tattoo i'm not sure how it would look. i would just opt for black/gray if i didn't like all the yellow.

i would love to see a photo of your hell butterfly if you have one. i always thought of getting one, but i doubt i will.

i've been pondering getting a lotus, and maybe having timcampy sitting on it or something. because of kanda and because i think they are really beautiful. not a deep meaning, like you, but i don't want any of my tattoos to have a great meaning. :)

im thinking of putting it on my leg and having tim's tail go down over my foot a bit and i was thinking of having a lotus on the rest of my foot. i doubt ill get the lotus now, but ill be getting tim for sure. :)

not just autobots and decepticons, but the maximals as well. [although i dont have a picture uploaded of that] you can see the other two here (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b206/xaskanix/july08/n755105289_3560006_6736.jpg) the one on the left was new and the one on the right was peeling. the maximal symbol is right next to the autobot one, to the right of it, where the empty space is.

my bleach one is here (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b206/xaskanix/sept08/picture_195z-1.jpg) i really need to take a new photo of it since that was the day after it was done and its scabby.

i really like your bleach inspired tat, because it doesnt scream bleach at all and unless you were a really big fan, you wouldn't know what it was.

the shop i go to will do touch up work for free if you are already getting a tattoo, since they have the needle out anyway. makes me happy, at least. :)

yeah, i want it outlined in black, my bleach one doesnt have a black outline so its been interesting seeing how it healed.

im going to hopefully go down to the shop tomorrow with a couple pictures and give the artist some time to draw up what i want. i think im going to use this photo (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b206/xaskanix/2009/Timcampy_by_Shinigamylle.jpg) because i like the tail better than the round blob i usually see, and i want the wings to be more feathery, but not extremely so. i'm going to take in another photo for colour reference as well. but i like your idea of blending in all those different colours.

my artist is going to be out of the shop next week so i hope to go in the week after sometime and do it up. im pretty excited and i will post photos for sure. i'm actually kind of surprised there arent any communities for anime tattoos here on lj that i could find. i actually cant find much on anime tats. i guess im not looking in the right places. :/

such a late reply but i got sick. still am a bit, actually. i need to wait until i get better before i can get the tat. i wanted to get it done this week. :/

the bleach tat actually has a really light blue colour around the outside, which is why my artist wondered if it would stay well enough without a black outline. it seems to have for the most part, except near the top of the flames, but i think thats because i wear a bracelet i never take off and it rests for the most part there. my artist went over the light blue many many times to make sure it would stay, but it needs to be done again. :/

that sucks about not having the cash. i was quoted for having timcampy at about $130-150 cdn. which is pretty good, considering how big itll be and the detail thats going to go into the wings. my other ones were between $80-100 and were all done by the same person. but, sadly, he's moved on to a bigger city but the owner of the shop is doing all tattoos now, so its not a bad thing.

yeah, theres a couple video game related tat communities and then just general tat ones.
