Question/Discussion

Hello everyone~

I have a random question for you all. :D I'm current with the manga and anime, and I loooove this fandom, and since I've seen a lot of it in my searchings for various things mostly djs xD I am insanely curious as to where the idea for Noah!Lavi and Noah!Allen originated and what the story is behind it/them.

I am also a fan of the Noahs, aside from adoring the exorcists, so this sort of piqued my interest. I would love to know more about it! Opinions, ideas, theories .. I'd love them all! :D
sincere: DGM: Lenalee's back to the viewer ([dgm-allen] boy playing at hero)

The ideas originated just because (thanks to Skinn's flashback) we know that at least some of the Noah used to be normal people and later "awoke" as a Noah, so you can justify that Favorite Character X might become a Noah someday.

Allen has a very good excuse, because he literally has a Noah living inside of him; it's not unreasonable to assume we might see Noah!Allen in the future, in some way, shape, or form. (Especially since the shots we see of Mana and his Noah brother from the back look a lot like Allen.) All other characters are the product of fans who are interested in seeing their favorite characters as Noah. XD I've seen Noah Kanda as well, and Lenalee and minor characters too.

I personally think that it's unlikely that any main character (other than possibly Allen) will actually become one, but that's just an opinion.

Being a rather active member of the d.Gray-man dressing room, there are Noah versions of practically every character in the series, as well as Exorcist versions of the Noahs. Other than Allen and his connection with the 14th, there's really no reason for it other than the 'what if someone became a Noah' thing going on. I personally play a Noah!Lavi in the dressing room, and he has his own background behind things. SO. yup.

Like kay_willow and indirect have mentioned, Noah!Allen was inspired by the connection between Allen and the 14th.
Noah!Lavi probably originated from the Jasdevi's comment during the Ark arc. When David (or however his name is spelled) spot Lavi among the exorcists, he noted that "so you are on their side this time" (something to that effect).

Well, Noah Allen was an idea fandom was playing with long before the 14th thing happened in canon (for instance, there are plenty of doujinshi with Noah Allen that were published way beforehand). I think in general, the idea of Noah versions of the Exorcists/other good guys is something people play with not because of any specific canon prompting, but just because they find it interesting.

When David (or however his name is spelled) spot Lavi among the exorcists, he noted that "so you are on their side this time"

I think this is more referencing that as a Bookman, Rabi is technically supposed to stay neutral, just there to record the conflict and nothing more. (Although we've all seen how good he actually is at that...)

Ugrently need your help!
