Timcampy Tattoo
I posted a few weeks ago about wanting to get a Timcampy tattoo. Well, I finally found some good photos to show my artist I showed him these three photos.
He looked at them and drew up something to what I wanted. I wanted it to mostly be like the first one linked, with the wings a little like the last one and the colour to be like the second photo. A bit confusing, but at least I knew what I wanted, right?
I got it done this afternoon and it took around 3 hours, with my artist drawing it up, and with all the interuptions, I ended up with something really awesome. The tail was drawn free hand with a marker, and the wings were pretty much free hand as well, since the stencil got all smudged so he had to grab his sketch book and use that to look off of.
The photos might be kind of large, I don't remember what my camera is set on and I didn't resize them. The yellow cross and the horns should be a bright sunshine yellow, but there is still blood on them since they were done last, so the yellow isn't as bright as it should be. The wings have black shading with brown over the black and the rest is a really nice gold colour.
This is actually my 6th tattoo, and my 2nd anime related one. [5th if you count transformers]
the placement on my leg/foot
My artist was really surprised that I didn't find the part on my shin to hurt much at all. Even when he had to go over it like 4 times because of the colours and shading. He found it really painful when he got that area done. My foot was another story. The tail sucked because the lines were so long, and the little blob for the tail end sucked because he had to go over it so many times, my foot was red and throbbing.
I really want to get a lotus like the one Kanda has on my foot below Timcampy's tail, but since the little tail sucked so much I'm not sure I'd be able to handle a much larger piece there. I might still do it anyway since the end result is always so amazing.

the 11 year fandom is actually for L.J. Smith, she's written 6 series with 5 of them reprinted a couple times and right now Vampire Diaries is popular [because of twilight] so that's the one getting a pilot on CW. i think it'll be crap, but whatever.
I dont think i could list all the fandoms im involved with. i consider it one of my fandoms when i read fic for it and go looking for icons and such.
i think my second biggest fandom would be harry potter, but im not too interested in that now that theres no new canon.
so randomly - kuroshitsuji, bleach, d. gray-man, transformers [movie-verse], supernatural, moonlight, briefly black cat, fruits basket and nabari no ou, vampire knight, darker than black, tales of the abyss, kyou kara maou!, zombie-loan, tactics, monochrome factor, code geass, smallville, dead like me, and reaper.
a lot of those i'm not too interested in anymore because there's nothing new so there's only so long you can keep picking away at all the old stuff.
i didn't list other stuff that i'm following because i'm not too into it, like i was some of the others. [like i've read a couple fics but not the amount that i have for some]

But Road? That would be really cool! Road is such a strange and interesting character...but she looks hard (to me) to cosplay.
SDCC? I'm going to take a wild guess... South Dakota Comic Convention?
I would guess so! Vampires...haha. I'm not too into vampires myself but they're interesting. Not a huge fan of Twilight either. :\
Well, fandom does take over so it's to be expected. xD

That is true. I fell out of this one fandom because there was nothing new to keep me there. It's sad... D:

The only thing hard for Road would be her hair. I already have pretty much everything else she wears [the shoes, the ribbon around her neck, the socks, etc] so i don't think it'll be too bad. I don't think i'd draw the crosses on my face though, because they'd probably melt off or something so i'd be going as her 'white' self.
SDCC is actually San Diego Comic Con. A few of my friends are going to Azkatraz a Harry Potter Con a few days before SDCC so I'm considering going to both. I've never been to CA and being from Canada I need to get a passport before I can go.
Vampires are interesting when done right, and both of LJS's series that have vampires have twists on them which makes it more entertaining than anything else. I don't really like Twilight either.
I haven't really read any HP fic in a long time. The ones I do read are actually from some of the bigger names in fandom, but I read them because they are on my flist and I've always enjoyed their work.
I'm actually beta reading a kuroshitsuji fic for someone that isn't a native english speaker, english is her third language. I've already betaed one fic for her and it's interesting trying to figure out what she's trying to say.
It's true though, if there's no new canon you can only keep discussing what you can to death before you get tired of it and move on to newer and brighter things. :)

I'm still considering if i will cosplay her or not. i think i will, in the end, because if i do go, my friends plan on cosplaying as well, but i think they'll be doing some characters from bleach.
yeah, the girl actually taught herself english from reading fic, scanlations and a bit from her schooling, but apparently english wasn't taught that well at her school, which sucks.
