Hey, everyone~!! I just recieved my copies of the Gray Ark fanbook, 'Douke no Seiga' (the anime artbook), and 'D.Gray-man Kenkiyuukai' ('The Secrets of D.Gray-man') a few days ago. I've scanned the artbook, and am in the process of scanning the entire fanbook.

My question is if anyone is interested in seeing scans of 'D.Gray-man Kenkiyuukai'? It's only text, and I bought it without having any idea what it was. ("Free shipping if you buy more crap!" was what YesAsia told me.) It appears to be little bits of info on the characters and series, but I can't be sure, since I can't read anything beyond names.

If I scanned it, would anyone be willing to translate it?

I will, definitely! I'm hopping on a plane for Philly tomorrow morning, and I plan to spend my air-time making the scans look nice. I'll post them as soon as I get a chance!

Thanks for scanning the DGM fan stuff. I'll love it if you upload the art book. I've got the fanbook already(even though I can't understand anything written in it.)

I've heard that 'Secrets of D Gray Man' is actually written by a group of fans which seriously did research on the manga and made their own theories(something like the 'Secrets of Harry Potter'). One of their theories is that the person Kanda is looking for is female and probably an older sister. Their basis is that Kanda refers to 'that person' as 'ano hito', which you would not normally be used on someone younger than you and so on(I don't remember the exact details, so don't flame me if I got this wrong)

It's awesome that you're willing to put in so much work, but you do know that gigantic portions of the fanbook have been scanned already, right? :D; I don't know whether every page has been or not, but if you look around, say, Mangahelpers/D.Gray-Divinity and the like, I know for a fact there's quite a bit out there.

I've seen scans of a few pages (mostly character profiles and a few early sketches of characters), but what I've found is nowhere near the entire fanbook. Besides, I've already scanned it, so it'd seem like a waste not to post it. xD;;
