Back Again, Bearing Gifts!

Hello all! This post is for any Lucky (TykixLavi) fan or potential Lucky fan! I come bearing doujinshi - all are raw I'm afraid, but please enjoy anyway! I may get some scanlations for these soon, but I may not. It's all up in the air right now.

'Flower' isn't too long - 21 pages. There's some cute TykiLavi interaction though nothing NC-17 rated.

'Kimi ga Nozonda Eien' is a sad doujinshi, at least from what I can tell from the pictures. There are some spicy moments (not quite worksafe, but only on a page or two and no genitalia is shown) - 38 pages.

'Millennium Puzzle' seems to be three short Lucky stories - the second is just adorable and takes place on Halloween. The third is a bit spicy, not really worksafe for two or three pages, but nothing explicit and no genitalia. - 29 pages. I like the art style in this one, I think it's pretty.

'Swallowtail Butterfly' has some really gorgeous color pages at the beginning - nothing too explicit. This one seems to be mostly Lavi-centric, though there is a scene between Tyki and Road at the beginning. 25 pages.

'TRICK STAR' is, like Millennium Puzzle, a collection of three short Lucky stories. It's 38 pages long - the first story seems to be able Tyki and Lavi watching the stars together, the second involves rabbit ears, and the third seems to be about a date in a coffeehouse.

'Witch's Forest' isn't strictly Lucky, but it does involve a younger Lavi hanging out with Tyki in a forest. Nothing explicit here or even close - it seems to be focused on a friendship instead of romance and is drawn in a pretty cute, simple drawing style. 42 pages.

'Nocturn' is more explicit than any of the other doujinshi and is definitely an NC-17 doujinshi. Not worksafe, 49 page count.

thanks for the download links bookbaby! I've been looking everywhere for Swallowtail Butterfly. All the other links I found seem to have them deleted. I have scans of a few lucky doujins if you want/don't have them. I have Dizzy, Black and White and Nightmare.

I actually already have those, but I only uploaded the raws. Some people are very senisitive about their scanlations being shared, but few seem to mind scans. Thanks for the offer though, that was very kind!

Okay, looked through all of them carefully, and I decided to translate the following:

Kimi ga Nozonda Eien
Witch's Forest
Swallowtail Butterfly
Nocturn

(Nocturn because, well, the story seemed kind of interesting, especially the ending ^^; Plus it'll be a nice treat for all the Tyki x Lavi fans)

Thanks for uploading it all! The scans are great and it'll hopefully be done by the end of summer. *prays* But if it isn't (because of anime con doujinshi buying craze in June *hopes to buy DGM het*), it will be done in time for Christmas. ^^ Hope you don't mind waiting that long. If it is too long, I don't mind if someone else scanlates it. *looks around*

(Oh, and in regard to your comment about .rar and .zip, well, it would actually be better if you got winrar since it unzips both files, but for you for doing this, I'll try to remember to make it .zip!)

Four? Excellent! Thanks so much! I'm glad the scans will work for you - if they're already cleaned, then that saves you some trouble, right? ^_^

I don't mind waiting at all - I wasn't sure if I'd find anyone to translate any of the doujinshi! (I may look for some other people to translate the other ones, if that's all right with you.) Just take your time and upload when you get the chance!

I might try looking for winRAR, since everyone seems to upload doujinshi and such that way. Thanks for the tip!

And no problem- I'm more than happy to upload scans whenever! ^_^ I'm actually going to a con in May (will likely be crossplaying Tyki) and I might be able to pick up some doujinshi there.

But sure, feel free to ask other scanlators. *Has a huge list of doujins to translate so a little lift on the load would be nice, especially for Lucky fans since there isn't enough love out there* (Although I have to admit it, but I'm more into Laven than Lucky n_n)

I'll have to see if I can find any scanlators. I don't know anyone else who does this sort of thing, really - do you know any other groups I may be able to ask? Even from other fandoms, if I ask nicely, perhaps they wouldn't mind translating a dou or two...

And you're right, there really isn't enough love for Lucky. I'm not a huge fan of Laven, but I can see what people like it in! (I usually find one pairing I like per character and stick with that, so I became a Yullen and Lucky fangirl after watching DGM. ^_^)

mirusmayhem_etc is one (alternative site: www.mirusmayhem.com). Another is aarinfantasy (just google them). Hm, another is orchard_dreams (though they prefer Laven and Lavyu from what I can see). Another is bangaqua. That's all I can think of from the top of my head. But if you have love of other fandoms, just select the tags (doujinshi, downloads, etc) and you'll see some scanlators who do it. Or you can lurk around for some proficient Japanese speakers/writers and request them to do the translation for you. ^^ Can't say if they'll do it, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You know something... I'm not too sure. Lucky just means TykiLavi to me, though now that you mention it...

I've actually seen icons where either Lavi or Tyki is asking 'And how is that 'Lucky'?' or 'And how do you get 'Lucky' from that?' It'd be interesting to try and trace the name back to find out where it came from!

From what I heard, Tyki x Lavi = Laki which sounds like "Lucky" and -- presto! -- you get Lucky.
