Discussion - Tyki's power
This has been bothering me for a while, so I've finally decided to bring it up here. If it's been discussed already, forgive me, since I've come into this fandom somewhat late.
Tyki only ever tells Allen of his ability to choose to pass through anything of this world (also translated as anything of god's creation, I believe). But when he snaps and rejects the atmosphere around Allenwhich isn't exactly him choosing not to touch somethingRoad tells Lenalee he has the power to choose from, or manipulate, all creation.
I'm assuming it's this ability that he uses when he switches from his White form to his Black form in the beginning of the manga, when his glasses disappear and his clothes change. What I'm really curious about is what happens to the material things he chooses to "manipulate." When his clothes change, is he just rejecting their existence altogether? That could be the case when his White clothes disappear, but where does his suit come from? He can't bring things into existence, that's Jasdevi's ability. So does the suit exist somewhere else? He wouldn't be creating something out of thin air, but bringing something tangible to him. Which would make it seem he could produce anything he wanted, as long as it already existed. Which in turn would mean he could reject anything he wanted, as long as it existed. Like people. Allen would be an exception because of his parasitic Innocence, the only thing Tyki can't directly use his powers on.
Does this make sense? I'm interested in other people's opinions. I'm thinking, if Tyki could just choose to get rid of non-parasitic exorcists, it'd sure be a quick and easy way to handle things, but it would take all the fun out of killing them, which is what he gets the most pleasure from. And the Tease, he keeps them in his body, they multiply after eating humans, so they're things that already exist, it isn't as thoughhe's producing them himself intangible, I should say, to be clear.
Thoughts! Opinions! I want them.

lol who knows what they would look like, maybe Koi fish? but that wouldn't do.
Also it is very easy for Tyki to kill non-parasitic exorcists thus how he killed Daisya although he doesn't show his full potential until fighting against Allen.

While Tkyi was fighting Allen, he was able to "walk" on air. Air is a part of creation, so he could be manipulating the air by solidifying it.
So saying, he's not actually producing anything just changing things to fit his needs.
Sorry if some of this doesn't really make sense. My mind tends to jump around. (I end up confusing myself soemtimes.^^)

I got so excited I replied without thinking. lol That still doesn't quite explain where the glasses get off to... they get all smoky and disappear, right? Like so. (http://read.mangashare.com/D.Gray-man/chapter-042/page015.html) So while he could be manipulating his clothes into a different kind, what exactly is he doing with the glasses? It's such a tiny little detail, but not understanding is very irksome.

Actually, this comment reminded me of something I thought of a few weeks ago. I was watching a science show (I'm nerdy like that) about atoms, and it was mentioned how matter never actually touches other matter due to the electromagnetic field around the atoms. So when you're walking, you're not really touching the actual matter of the ground, or really touching your keyboard, or holding your friend's hand. I thought it was kind of depressing at first, but then I thought of Tyki ('cause of the whole not touching thing) and thought, in order for him to pass through any object he wants, he would be neutralizing the electromagnetic fields of either his atoms or the object/person in question's atoms. Which is manipulating creation at its most basic level. Sooooo maybe the glasses fade away because he breaks them down into gases and water vapor?
...It seemed to make sense at the time, but I almost failed chemistry, so... >_>
I am so sorry for babbling so much! I should really just go to sleep now. ._.

On sort-of-related note, I this reminds me of a crack-y
theoryhypothesis I came up with months ago, though that one was based on accepting/rejecting and the unlikely possibility that I remembered something right from high school physics and biology. If we see because our eyes register photons bouncing off of or being emitted by things around us, and Tyki Mikk can affect anything in the natural world (which would include photons unless they're secretly Innocence), then could Tyki choose to phase through / reject photons... and effectively turn invisible?
