D.Gray Man English Dub

Okay, I honestly don't know if this has been posted (or the fact that I'm so late ;A;)  but has anyone seen the english dub of D.Gray Man?
If so, I'd like to hear what you  think about it :D!

Yep! ^_~ And look here (http://customcom.typepad.com/gastrokid/2008/08/breakfast-on-a.html)! Now I guess Dub Kanda sees Allen as a super short stack of pancakes. 8D

I should make a DGM short stack icon now. XDD

Done! :3 Sorry for the double post. ^_^;

ROFL XD Nice icon.

I think short stack was definitely something they used to say back at the end of the 19th century, so.. um.. hurray??

But Kanda was Japanese, so beansprout made perfect sense anyhow.. What Allen orders as food didn't. XD How did he even know some of that stuff? And his favorite dessert isn't so good tasting in my opinion. x.x My Japanese friends think my tastebuds are just stupid though...

The way I make it make sense in my brain is that Cross dragged him pretty much all over the world. And Allen ate food all over the world (because that's what he does). I lol'd at that part though - "I can have anything?" - I kind of think maybe he was partly testing to see how much he could get away with and when Jerry didn't interrupt him with a "What the #^$%!" he just...kept talking.

Your icon. Unimpressed!Allen is fantastic. lol <3

Yeah, that's how I think of it too.. I just can't bypass his thought that mitarashii dango= awesome when it isn't very sweet at all. D: Ugh that stuff is not that great unless it's really fresh.

I prefer mochi icecream.. mmm..

[identity profile] eiliem.livejournal.com 2009-04-12 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
green tea ice cream ftw.

And chocolate. :P

(maybe Allen is one of those people who doesn't like sweet? Except...brain!canon Allen is a chocolate person *cannot make the thought go away*) o.O

Totally agree! mmmm maybe I'll go get some later. :3

Allen seems to really love sweets. I see him with cake and such all the time in the manga and the chibi shorts.

... Do people still say chibi?? I feel old. x_X

[identity profile] eiliem.livejournal.com 2009-04-13 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah, and he got all excited about Miranda's candy. Or...at least he seemed to be excited, but I kind of think he exaggerated it a lot so she wouldn't feel bad about him.

I think Allen just, really loves food. All food. :P

I say chibi! And so do other people on various lj comms...

Thanks!

"I think short stack was definitely something they used to say back at the end of the 19th century, so.. um.. hurray??
" Sarcasam, right? Lol. =D

Beansprout sounds better than short stack for sure, and I also am not crazy about mochi. I think mochi is used in mitarashi dango. ~.~;

It's the main ingredient. You're quite right. I love mochi icecream and other mochi products though. <3

And yes, perhaps I was being sarcastic. XD lol
