So, going to cut this for spoilers and speculation on .

Yeah, yeah, we've got it - Kanda's a second exorcist, created, tying in with akuma projects.

... but what about General Sokaro?

Remember, Cloud called him a demon, or rather said he shouldn't talk poorly about Allen and Kanda since he was a demon.

Allen and Kanda have their official tie from the past chapter, yadda yadda.

But either way, look at the eye markings on them, as well as the others in conjunction with the Earl (ie Jasdebi, Kanda in the battle with Skinn, Sokaro sans executioner mask).



Ideas?

I find your observation about eye markings really interesting, but I am not sure, if Sokaro and Kanda were meant to be connected in a way other than being a part of the OT4\Generals analogy, which, in my opinion, is supposed to show how main heroes could have turned out. *shrugs*

In the fan book it's stated that Sokaro's previous occupation was a death row inmate. I suppose that couldn't mean he was experimented on; he was sentenced to death anyway, so it could make him a perfect candidate, though the Order obviously had no respect for the fate of their test subjects then. It seemed to me he was just compatible and an Exorcist is an Exorcist. He gets to take out his crazy murderous tendencies on akuma and everyone's happy. I don't think Cloud meant what she said literally.

Though the white eyeballs?

I don't know. I'm very curious about this, and indeed he would be a perfect candidate for experimentation. Could tie in with the fiasco possibly.

I just figured the eyes were a design thing to show how psychotic he is? It seems that happens a lot when someone is shown to temporarily lose their grip on sanity, either that or their irises get very tiny. I just don't tend to take things like that so literally. I do think it's totally cool looking though. >.>

Eh, there's metaphorical stuff but Hoshino has so many different hidden things I always question. It's fun speculation, but also considering where there are the markings, etc. It'll be curious to see where this goes.
