This was drawn for Kanda's birthday. I imagined what Kanda would look like in a guy's kimono. The design was inspired by Tsubasa RC.

Oh my goodness, Kanda looks so...eh...how do I say, very calm and sophisticated looking. XD
And I like the way you colored his hair. It reminds me of the toning style of Mushishi a bit.

Thanks for the comment! Sophisticated? I wasn't expecting a word like that. The feeling the final product gave me was more of proud, like he's from a high status family.

Oh, and Mushishi is a series from Kodansha. It's pretty interesting in my opinion. The thing is, in the dubbing for Mushishi, the main character Ginko is dubbed by Travis Wiillingham. Sound familiar? =.=

Right. The guy who totally ruined Kanda's voice in the dubbed version. In no way would Kanda address Allen by his name or call him shortstick instead of moyashi. And he absolutely would not say "mighty mugen" (or myoogen, as they horribly pronounced it). It makes me cringe.

Oh gawd. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. Shortstack. =.= Beansprout is so much cuter. My friend wanted to kill someone when she heard the "myugen" part. It sounds like he wants to moo or something. =.= The second part of the dvd is ocming out tomorrow I think with Kanda on the cover.
