Small question
Hi everyone, just a little question for my fanfic!
Does anyone approximately know when D.Gray-Man's timeline is situated? I know it is during the 19th century, rather at the end but... I would need a little bit more precise year (and I think it can be seen on Mana's grave, for his birth but I am not sure and do not remember when it appears...
Thanks in advance!

Personally I have... absolutely no idea but I'd sure as hell love to know too.

Honestly, I've been trying to figure this out for some time, too.

But because of Cyrill Kamelot there's supposed to be a war raging on the latest DGM timeline, isn't it? Anyone knows of a war between countries in the end of 19th century?
And does anyone know what season it was in the manga when DGM stared and the current season in the manga? It seemed like a year have passed, but there was no Christmas signs or anything (the Order is Christian so shouldn't there be any sign?).

Thanks for telling me, though, it still gives me an idea!

The thing is that I have to assume too (I actually need a precise year to know which tsar was ruling the country, and the most probable ones are Alexander II (1855-1881), Alexander III (1881-1894) and Nicolas II (1894-1917). It's not that important but I wanted to be as realistic as possible).
Thanks for your suggestion, I will certainly base my timeline on that!

Yeah, that's something I've been wondering about almost since the beginning of the series, yet we have no definitive answer...
Thanks!
