I started watching the anime and reading the manga a while ago and I was wondering if the anime is really over or if a new 3rd season is going to be released.
The manga went on an extended hiatus around the time the anime finished due to Hoshino's health issues (she reportedly needed wrist surgery). It came back sporadically after that, but is only going to resume regular serialization, on a monthly basis, in November. I doubt we'll get more anime until the revived manga has been running for awhile - which, IMHO, is far better than forcing us to sit through years of contrived filler while waiting for the manga to catch up again.
I sure hope there'll be more anime later on. Not saying I'm putting a lot of desire into seeing it as I fizzled when the anime quit and flat quit even reading the manga not long after that. It'd be nice though.
Unfortunately the anime's really over. There's not enough manga to continue the anime. But they ended it at a good place so it's not a total fail like FMA.
