A familliar face in another anime...

I was watching the anime called Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini and then this character comes up. My sister was like "Hey look! That's Kanda!"

Ok, so it wasn't really Kanda. It was a she-that-almost-looks-like-a-he that's Japanese, violent, has a bit of a chilly demeanor and uses a katana that glows blue.

Yeah, they don't really look alike that close up, but they do have some general similarities.

Darker than black its my favorite anime... that girl is call Hazuki and has noting similar to Kanda... If you want to find a character like kanda you can look for Alto from Macross

I thought she had a similar look to Kanda and was amused, but she's a she, so it just doesn't work. Loads of anime characters have that haircut, men and women alike.

I loved Macross Frontier!! _{It may or may not have had anything to do with Alto looking almost exactly like Kanda...}

I could see her and Kanda being related... especially since she has to kiss (and I mean melts-in-your-mouth kiss) a guy as payment for using her powers. (If you're not familiar with the series, you're forced to "pay" for using your power, and the payment is always something you hate.)

Somehow I could see that being something that Kanda would hate (yet would send all of the fan girls into fits).

Yes, I also noticed the similarity ... but the guy who looks and acts like Kanda is in every other anime I watch ...
