Okay everyone, I've been dying to discuss this and see what others think. Any fun theories? Just want to squee over finally getting some backstory? I want to hear it!

I am confused since the flashback has started.
Okay, we're in Kanda's past, but we see now from the view of Allen and Rhode?
And who is she? e___e

I miss Lavi and the others.
Where are she?

I think the three of them are all supposed to be experiencing Kanda's flashback thanks to Wisely (is that his name? Too many new Noahs popping up all at once for me to keep them straight).

My guess for the woman is that Kanda was grown from the genes of an expired exorcist, and the "core memories" that the researchers mentioned are the memories of the original exorcist that he was made from (which would make this girl the wife/lover?). I'm hoping we learn more about that soon.

I miss Lavi too. Here's hoping we get more of him soon.

I'm thinking she's his mother, and they picked up the kid after she died. Maybe they thought an exorcist's child would be more compatible with Innocence. Then they suppressed his memories while preparing him somehow in that womb room.

Ooo now there's a thought. And somehow even more nasty of the Order picking up children and experimenting on them as compared to growing them (which is still pretty horrible). I like it!
