I'm kind of dissapointed too. After all, it's Alma and Kanda who are principaly in this volume.

I think it makes more sense to have Alma on the cover of the next volume, personally.
Assuming vol.20 will have the flashbacks, as I'm not familiar with what's in vol.19.

While the flashbacks showed Alma, too. The memories themselves were Kanda's and were ultimately about his life, and Allen was involved in them.

Then, I suspect Alma's role in the upcoming chapters will be to change the views of our characters and the story. Thus, he becomes a centerpiece. So it makes more sense for Alma to be on the next cover than this one (since he can't really be on both, unless it's in a group picture... or he's Allen. :P).

I don't have anything against the cover or anything, but I think it would make more sense for Alma to be on the cover, even if mellmell has a point... I dunno. I still find it weird that Allen's there. Oh well, I don't really care. *Shrug* xD

But I thought Alma would be there too~ though maybe he'll appear on the next volume since he just awoke in the previous chapter. Maybe Hoshino wants to put the "adult" and Akuma-like him on the cover, and if she did that for volume 20 it would be kind of spoilerish... well that's what I think anyway~ XD
