Chapter 197 Reaction Polls

See, it makes sense to me that Allen would be drawn more older looking, now. When you figure in the amount of travel and how long it took in that time period, even assuming they used the Ark for just about everything once they got it, he's probably been with the Order at least a year now, probably more like a year and a half to two years.

Allen didn't look as old in chapter 186 though.

In chapter 186 Allen, Lenalee and Kanda were getting ready to go on their mission to Jordan. But in chapter 187, we see Lenalee at Greece instead, so a time skip most likely happened between the two chapters. I have no idea how much time has passed, Hoshino's change in style makes it very hard to guess.

I'm just estimating based on travel time. TBH, I don't really notice the art shifts much at all. If TVtropes didn't mention them, I probably never WOULD have noticed. I get deep enough into the story that I don't really notice the artistic details until at least a second read.

Also, apologies for any spelling errors. My firefox spellcheck is currently on the fritz, and thinking that "is" is misspelled, so it's completely unreliable ATM.

(Sometimes the initial post doesn't go though and I end up clicking a second time and commenting twice by accident. I often fix my posts a lot too you see .__.)

For me, I don't really notice the changes in the style because they're usually gradual or they didn't change much even after a hiatus. I found that chapter 187 was a big jump from the previous chapter though.

... maybe we can measure time by Lenalee's hair length? LOL

XD If that's the case, then it grows unusually fast. She gained like what, four inches back already?
