D.Gray-Man Anime Licenced

"At their Anime Central industry panel, FUNimation Entertainment announced the acquisition of Romeo X Juliet, Gonzo's 24-episode sci-fi take on the Shakespeare play. It will be released in two half-season boxes, with the first due out sometime in the spring of 2009. Funimation also confirmed that the release date for Ouran High School Host Club will be revealed during a special event on May 30.

At the same time as the panel was taking place, the Funimation.com website was updated with a splash page for another new license: D.Gray-man, which is also on track for a 2009 release.

At least I'm not the only one with those sentiments. Call me an elitist bitch, but I can't imagine this doing anything good for the fandom. That annoys me much more than the prospect of a terrible dub.

You're not an elitist bitch - the new wave of fans are just idiotic, squealing fans who are like a massive cult. I was hoping they'd just move to Bleach and stay there. Ugh.
