I'm stayin up l,ate like always and I checked onemanga for the new chapter cause I'm so anxious. So, I thought I'd post a small summary of what happens! :D

Here goes!

First off. It shows how Allen and Mana met.
It SHOWS MANA'S FACE! Though he's covered in clown make-up. So we don't get a real look. Apparently though he's bald.
Allen wasn't always polite. He was downright rude even. (Now THAT was funny)
They meet cause the dog Mana uses in his act dies and he's burrying him, Allen comes over and they start talking.
Allen comes into the room Cross is waiting in. Lavi follows along to do Bookman stuff.
In the room are members of Special Combat Division from Central's Assassination Squad "Crow" according to Lavi
Those dudes are the reason Komui is so threatened by Central
HUGE ONE.
MANA IS THE 14TH'S OLDER BROTHER. (HOLYCRAPHOLYCRAPHOLYCRAP)
It shows the back of them as little kids
Cross knew all along (shocker shocker)
He was asked by the 14th to watch over Mana
If he did the 14th said he'd come back to Mana
Cuts to Lenalee and Johny waiting in the library. Say they'll stay up till Allen gets back
And the chapter ends with Cross saying "You had the 14th memories implanted in you. You are the host nesisary to his revival."

Totally XD But I'm thinking about the future, really.

I always liked Allen (and, consequently, DGM) because I always thought he had to try hard to have his powers (killing Mana to get the eye; Fou and himself almost dying to get the Crown Clown) unlike all the other shounen main characters which were like "LOLZ, I'm training 3 days with my uber-shpeshial-skillz and I have everything mastered!" 8D So I'm fearing for him. And I'm a pessimistic at heart, so I already see how this could go the WRONG way instead of going the RIGHT way 8D

But I'll trust Hoshino and wait to see what she'll do with it before any bitchy-complaining. For now, it's just fearing for the character 8D

Ah, I guess that just never seemed like a big part of Allen's character to me. Whether he grasped something easily or had to work hard for it, he just seems like the kind of person who would accept it all gratefully. Though in this particular case, I don't think turning out to be the Fourteenth is really Speshul Powarz so much as it is a burden that's going to make life harder for him. I'm pretty worried about what Rouvelier/the Vatican are going to want to do with him now that everything's out in the open. D: Especially with the way Rabi was talking this chapter.

Yea, he doesn't get things too fast or too slow. Yea the 14th thing seems like it'll just be more work for Allen. More people to convince he's not all "Rawr! I be evil Noah in disguise!>:F". Yea, with that stuff happening there's gonna be drama...

Yeah, he's the "whatever comes, comes" kind of guy; another reason why I like him.

That's my point; if it's handled from that point of view, everything will be fine. If Hoshino goes down the special-Noah-powers lane... it might become a disaster.

About the Vatican... Sending a horde of their private assassins to keep an eye on Allen? Scary~! And Lavi in Bookman mode... *fangirl moment* *ahem* Yeah, he sounded worried so it's most likely not a good sign AT ALL. But I still think not everything is out in the open... This is CROSS for God's sake. He could be lying/distorting-the-truth/hiding-important-details for all we know, especially knowing he was being watched by the Vatican and that his and Allen's ass were on the line (yes, I do think he cares about his pupil a little XD).

Mm, all true.

Especially about Cross. It's CROSS for lord's sake. Of course he's holding stuff back. Lying is one of best skills.

I don't think Cross has told us everything yet, but he very well might next chapter. Don't forget that he agreed to let Rouvelier take him off for questioning in exchange for getting to have this one meeting with Allen -- and if the opening page of the previous chapter with Timcampy is any indication, after this meeting they're not going to get to see each other for a while. We don't know it for sure yet, but this might be the one chance Cross will get to explain things to him. Occam's Razor leads me to believe it's not some conspiracy to hide the real Fourteenth; it is what it looks like, which is Hoshino finally delivering the truth about some of the plot mysteries she's left hanging for a while.

I really can't see Hoshino going crazy with Allen's Speshul Noah Powarz at the expense of the realistic consequences of this revelation within the Order/Vatican/with Rouvelier, personally. It would be a pretty huge 180 from her usual storytelling style.

Yeah, he's probably not outright lying but I don't think he's telling everything either. Most likely, he's giving Allen guidelines so he can then fend for himself and figure out what he has to do. That opening page was a little disturbing. Either Cross is going to disappear all over again (XD) or this thing with Allen is way more serious than, at least, I'm thinking. (Being the main character has this kind of thing, too; we always know they're gonna make it so we don't worry that much XD) I wanted to see a little more of Cross's interaction with Levellier/the Vatican so we could guess a few more things.

Hiding the Fourteenth doesn't make that much sense, since Levellier seems to have a lot of information on him, too. But hiding details and changing the truth a little is just like Cross 8D I really think he's telling Allen (and us) all we need to know and after a little more info (maybe a few more flashbacks) we'll probably be able to figure everything out.

That's why I say I'll be trusting Hoshino. But hearing it from someone else is reassuring; it tells me it's not only me finding excuses for hoping for good things XD
