A prediction of the Thief G in recent chapter
Hi guys! I just thought of something as I read the recent chapters of D.Gray-Man From Chapter 174.
From Chapter 174 when Link was possessed, didn't Link's charcter acted like someone we know when this case started?
I don't know whether many know but doesn't he act like the kid that grabbed that inspector's daughter's boobs when she was heading to the ball?
My prediction is that that kid is Thief G and the reason will he is stealing jewels is to give them to the inspector's daugther, to woo her.
After all, when Link got stabbed, he was crying and acting so childishly. There's no way a grown up would like cry on the spot and the way he laughed when the inspector was arguing with his subordinates, he address them as old man or was it grown ups?
T_T then again maybe many already know and this isn't a good prediction. But hey, its worth talking about and maybe can be a good fanficition idea for some.
I also read some forums that people are wondering why Allen is with Kanda for missions now. I think they decided to put Kanda with Allen to give back some spotlight to Kanda, after all, how many chapters in the manga has Kanda not been there for. But it is worth considering that some think Allen is now under Theodore's guidance since Cross's is gone.
Well, that's all I have to say. If this isn't allowed then I'll take it down.^_^

But. I think there are two things contradicting it, and while neither is proven, so they could be wrong, but they're pretty much implied:
1. Ghosts are dead people. At least, all the ones we've seen so far.
2. G doesn't have a body -- thus is their theory.

Also, Didi did say it has something to do with Innocence. What if the Innocence has the power to move the user's soul about. It could explain the ghost part. Also, they have never seen the real G before, so they assumed the user does not have a body, which is being used with Innocence.
But we'll find out, but thanks for pointing those points out^_^

But! I do admit that they only assume G doesn't have a real body, so it is possible.
But another thing is, I think G acted far younger than that kid. I dunno if we're reading different translations, but I got a "you adults are all the same D<" impression from G, which seems more typical of, say, a 10-year-old, rather than... well, I'd guess the kid you mentioned is probably 16-ish, at least.

Though that's an interesting theory.

When I first saw that kid He reminded me of Lavi from when he was little with Kanda!
