So, I am back with another question...

Haha.

I know not a lot is really known on Noah's, but I've always wondered... do they age normally or not? I'm curious because Road was the first born and yet she's the youngest [looking] out of all of them. Perhaps because she has died and been reborn? Or because she chooses to stay that way?

; 3; Can someone give me a basic idea?

Right now I'm leaning toward the fact that they die and are reborn thing. That's why Road is so young and blah blah blah. But I would like to believe they choose to stop aging whenever they like. That's kinda wishful thinking, I suppose... >___>;;

I think it goes by when they find out that they're a Noah. Or, that's how it seems.

I'm asking because like... I was watching random clips of the anime for the lulz [B|;; which I rarely do] and the Earl was carrying Tyki and... someone else, I think. And the Earl was all, "You used to be so light." and I think he mentioned about how they've grown up and what not.

D: SO, I figured that they used to be young....

Well, I guess they do age. He said that in the manga to Tyki and Skin Bo-whatever. Which, is why I think it's when they find out that they're a Noah. Road probably found out when she was a baby or something.

My mind just blew at the idea of Road finding out that she was a Noah when she was child.

x3 But I can see where you're coming from! D: It makes sense. -nod nod.- I dunno, I just. B| I can't see them aging yet I can, if that makes sense... Like... they age slooooowly.

I dunno. I'm crazy.

I don't believe for a second that they stop aging.

Road is the "eldest" of the Noah because she was the first to Awaken as a Noah in this lifetime. Though all of her "brothers and sisters" are physically older than her, she's been a Noah the longest. :)

Um, well, his comment is kind of innocuous in the anime, I think. The Earl says a lot of meaningless things. In the manga however, at the point where Tyki is picked up by the Earl (and taken to safety after his fight with Allen), he states:

"There were times when this child was unconsciously restraining his Noah..." -- chapter 130, page 16

I'd advise you to read the manga as soon as possible if you have questions. They will all be answered if you read.

I will read the manga. Or, what I have of it, anyways... Haha.

Um. "You used to be so light." Please keep in mind that DGM is Japanese in origin and that this may not be the literal statement of "You weigh so much more." In the poetic, ideological way of Japan (and constraints on a translator) the Earl may very well be referencing the sudden weight of Tyki's Awareness. Or the fact that he can no longer deny his base Noah.

grayhour. If you really are set on not reading the manga until it comes out in English, you may just want to sit on this. Because asking these sorts of questions will lead to lots of spoilers. A great deal of things are explained or inferred in recent chapters.

I fail at explaining things, but I'm gonna try it anyway. :/

From what I've read, I've always had the impression that these 'Noahs' lived long ago, not in the bodies you see now, but like as a 'persona' that was passed down through generations.
So Road is the 'oldest' because her Noah was created first (Or the person who first had her Noah was born first before the other Noahs).

Um. Donno if that makes sense, but that's my thoughts. xD;

About Road, didn't she once said, that it isn't her real body what we see, but an Illusion she created with her dream. So I always thought, that in reality she could look older but choose to appear young. However since she goes to school and is doing homework like every other child I'm not really sure about that, but it's a possibility.

I think that was just when Lavi was stuck inside his mind, wasn't it?
Because Road can't physically enter his head...

Reread ch 121. Allen tries to stab Road, what does'nt work, and she says: "...You know, what you see of me, isn't me. People who don't know my "treu form" can't kill me."

I think they age normally. Road attends a normal human school so she'd have to age at a normal rate to fit in, it would look really strange if she didn't. As for Road being the first, I think someone in the thread said something already, it might go in thr Order in which they were found by the Earl.

Should you really be asking these questions if you want to stick with the American release dates 0.o you'll spoil yourself rotten.

I think that they age normally. As I see it, Road is the "oldest" Noah because she's been a Noah for the longest period of time. I'd heard somewhere that Jasdevi is supposedly the "youngest" Noah, and that he had been a Noah for only two years.
