Translated Spoiler Summary

Verification: Confirmed
- The Noahs, lead by the Earl, is gathering.
- What are the power of the 3rd Exorcists?!
- Getting closer to Kanda's origin!!
Credit to akiranowe at MangaHelpers.com for the spoiler. It seems like this big chapter will be a countinuation of the latest chapters' plot developments. =D
Furthermore, Akamaru Jump is a seasonal magazine that is usually released around Japanese holidays. It only publishes one-shots by ametures, yonkoma (4 panel comics) by already popular series, and one-shots by professional mangaka to promote their upcoming series that will be in a different serial magazine. Akamaru Jump DOES NOT publish consecutive chapters for serials. Shounen Jump publishes serials and Shonen Jump uses Akamaru Jump to publish a lot of their one-shots from submissions by ametures. Considering that DGM has been on hiatus since the end of April, Hoshino is probably using Akamaru's next release to promote DGM's return with a huge chapter, a color page, and the cover of this issue of Akamaru Jump to retrive some of her readership and gain new fans in turn. Sounds like good advertisement to me!
DGM will probably not be serialized in Akamaru Jump, and even though it seems like DGM is promoting itself as if to end it's current haitus, her return to Shounen Jump still hasn't been mentioned. So she may return to Jump soon or not. It just depends on whether or not the haitus continues after this chapter is published. Some people have also been speculating that she may switch over to a monthly magazine like Jump Square, and personally, if she can't countinue to keep up a weekly publication pace after this hiatus is over, then I think she would fit quite nicely in Jump Square. ;)Square's website is pretty, don't you think? Can't you just see D.gray-man in their website's lineup already?

And I can't stop wondering... Does the whole 2nd Exorcist thing mean he's not human...!? O.O

So, wait, this chapter is supposed to be really long...? =D

Maybe, since he isn't a user of innocence naturally, he sacrifices his life span when he uses his innocence even though he isn't a paracitic user! We've all known this forever, but I think the new twist is that he is sacrificing to his innocence. He can't just use it like everyone else who isn't parasitic. D: It could be that he is even sacrificing himself everytime he does simple attacks like Hell's Insects, but he gives up more of his life for the more powerful attacks like um...Sangenshiki...I think that's what it's called anyway. X3
I'm still not sure why he's dellusional and sees lotus flowers, though! I shall keep speculating to figure that one out. ;D Who knows, maybe it has something to do with the "forbidden art" used to fuse Kanda as a sacrifice with his innocence....hopefully he doesn't see random lotus flowers lying around just as a side effect. XD

I dunno, he seems pretty comfortable with his Innocence... But maybe that's just me... Though it makes sense that he would be sacrificing part of himself (you're right, that does seem pretty obvious xD). I just think there's a different reason, other than that he wasn't originally meant to weild Innocence. (Or maybe I just don't want it to be that reason? xD) Yeah, it's Sangenshiki. I went back to his fight with Skin in the manga so I could use it in my fic. xD
I feel like the lotus flowers have some greater significance than just being some sort of side effect. Like, I read a story recently (it was AU, but it was a good interpretation) where the lotuses were something about his past that was haunting him. So maybe he started out human, then they did experiments and made him not completely human, and those experiments had something to do with lotuses...? Or the lotuses were an unpleasant part of his past before the experiments, and now he can't seem to let go of them? I can't remember if he had the lotus in the hourglass in the manga, too. I know it was in the anime.
