So I decided for the first time to do a page by page statement/thought thingy because truth be told the only thing that made this chapter really good was Kanda's non caring attitude towards Alma and Allen self giving suicidal sacrificial ways, oh and finally seeing Lavi and Lenalee again after all this time.

Pg. 2: The only thing I have to say to this was "oh great another please save me allen from certain doom" and "lol allen got pwned by a rock formation in the ground"

Pg. 3: Allen do you really think telling alma to stop is going to work? that's like going up to the earl and ASKING him to stop his mad killing spree.

Pg. 4: Did anyone else think almas face looked sort of creepy there? or was that just me?

Pg. 5: oh earl <3 how I love your one tracked cause allen misery any way possible mind. Am I sensing some built up sexual tension from you? and alma good job in looking like an awakened Christ Devil thing (seriously when i read the text there i thought Christ has awakened and then i remembered that alma was an akuma and allen was the real christ figure in this series).

Pg. 6: I love almas face when he stepped on the dead scientists head it was all "whats this here...........oooooooooohhhhhh a dead human........yipeeeeeeeee"

Pg. 7: "a person?" *snort* no alma he's really a long lost fossil of an ancient species way before people exsisted..........yes a person *rolls eyes* also about time you woke up kanda, what took you so long.

Pg. 8: Did anyone else think alma and kanda are two halves of one whole when they looked at the faces side to side? cause i sure did.

Pg. 9: So allen is yet again saved by the third apostles.............well thats a downer.............I was actually hoping he somehow got saved by the earl and then whisked away while all this nutcase stuff happened.

Pg. 10: oh god.......no.......just no...............allen seriously you need help..........i mean come on you've been fighting in this war for how long now? and you had to had Takudou (or whatever his name is) spell this out for you? ok thats it either you die now or get kidnapped by the earl and then brainwashed to become this non caring monster cause i'm getting sick of your whining................and the sad thing is that allens my favorite character it's just that he can be a little annoying with the "wah wah i couldn't save this person wah wah poor me" routine.

Pg. 11: thank you Tokusa (finally lean this persons name) for waking allen up with a somewhat bitchword slap in the face now hopefully this lesson sticks cause if it doesn't.............mumbles..................anyways oh noes tokusa is showing signs of akumaism (yes that is now officially my new word).

Pg. 12: :( what is with you people and getting absorb.....................also yay Johnny for surviving and letting allen feel as though he is not a complete failure.

Pg. 13: the same goes for the important group except levierre (why wont you just die already? and yes i know i spelled his name wrong i just don't care about him and don't feel like giving him the respect of a correctly spelled name).

Pg. 14: The moment alma said that "I had a dream" statement i started thinking 'oh shitz, Martin Luther King is alma reincarnated' or would this be the other way around?

Pg. 15: oh how i love almas superiority act.

Pg. 16: poor kanda.........everyone seems to blame him when things go wrong. also tokusa what big mouths you have.................the better to rip allen apart with i'm sure.

Pg. 17: oh kanda you and your non caring one tracked mind................also "oh shitz tokusa"

Pg. 18: yes allen screaming tokusas name is somehow going to save him from becoming a monster.

Pg. 19: geez allen do the guy a favor then and KILL HIM don't just lay there stupidly and go "oh noes almas cells are going AWOL and making tokusa into a akuma what ever shall I do"

Pg. 20: oh earl how I love your mess with everyones heads until they explodeism......marry me?

Pg. 21: and now allens innocence is starting to go against its master...........see allen you need to follow by example if the innocence says its an enemy then you do as your supposed to and DESTROY said enemy.

Pg. 22: oh geez.........another mana moment only this time allen wants the innocence to kill him.............hmmmmmmmmm does this scream fourteenth all over it? i think so.

Pg 23: well that's an obvious answer i think.

Pg. 24: and now here comes the rest........oh hey wait look we get to see krory........HI KRORY WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL THIS TIME!

Pg. 25: and now heres lenalee and lavi.............oh how i missed lavis WTF is going on face

Pg. 26: and now we get see link and tewak (what is with these names seriously? how am I supposed to remember them.)

Pg. 27: meanwhile alma and kanda are fighting

Pg. 28: still fighting

Pg. 29: geez kanda alma was only complementing you, you don't have to be an ass about it

Pg. 30: allen i think the least of your worries should be kandas fighting at the moment and how i love almas question "do you have friends?"

Pg. 31: of course your an excorcist tokusa of course you are its' just that the black order happens to have a bunch of A-holes in it and they decided to make you an abomination................also yes allen go ahead and go with the earl make our day more interesting............and what do you mean the next issue is in august? do you expect me to wait that long?

Edgar looks like he could be Bak's brother. I think it's Hoshino's tendency to draw everyone with similar, more rounded faces. I miss the variety. ~~Tiki, you aren't hot anymore~~

Yes, after all, Cross did say that the 14th was on the run with Mana with the Earl hot on his heels. It seems that the Earl has been out to kill him, so why is he recruiting the 14th/Allen back at this point? Gosh, I don't know what to think anymore except that I want some FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION in the next chapter XD

I miss the variety and distinctive designs. And yet, I kinda don't mind them being pretty too. ~~No, he isn't, because everyone looks as pretty now.~~ But I agree on Edgar, he looks far too young to be 43 and yet the age does make sense if he's Bak's father. Then again, Bak looks pretty young for his age too :3

Now I know where did Bak's silliness come from. It certainly wasn't inheritted from his mother XD

Yup, it was released on June 4th in Japan, though I'm not sure what the side story is about. The Japanese blogger didn't mention it in their post, though, I'm not really picky about who the story features Okay, I lie, since volume 20 is all about Kanda's past, I'm hoping that the side story has something to do with it too, a closure to the arc would be very nice :]
