Is anyone attending Anime Expo this year? My friends and I are going to cosplay as Allen, Kanda, Lavi and Lenalee in the Third Uniform and it would be really nice to meet more people at the convention. We will be going on Friday and Saturday.

I'm going to cosplay as Allen in his Crown Clown cape and sword along with it. And I must say that his sword is quite a pain to do but pretty much worth it for we might even do a Masquerade skit if we are chosen in the entry screening. We should recieve a reply from them soon.

Progress Spoilers:



Crown Clown- I found duct tape that was really super shiny. Plus, you can see your reflection in it. XD My goal is to make the sword accurate and shiny as possible. I attached the handle but I cut it off in the picture.



Back Torso of Lenalee's Uniform- I'm really reluctant to show everything right now. We actually progressed a lot further than what the pictures say. I will update on pictures after we attend the AX. Expect a photoshoot! And I must add that sewing the back is a butt. Seriously. Thank goodness I'm finished with that.

Note: And you know what makes me distressed? DGM is on hiatus again so we won't have more pictures for references. Which is bad since the uniform keeps on altering like crazy and my friend Kato calls me a perfection freak. I am not. Really.

And Allen's earring changed too. What is up with that? Allen! Why can't you keep your gay (Kato's words not mine) blue metallic sphere earring? Geez. Moyashi causes to much pain. But he's worth it too.



....His earring... why.... Sigh. I don't even know what color it is. (Btw, sorry for marking Allen's face)


But anyways, sorry for rambling. As soon as we're done with the cosplay, I will post up the pictures and maybe even amateurish tutorials for people who are curious on how we made the whole thing. Another cosplay update will come soon. (Currently working on shoulder straps at the moment)

OH wow...you guys make a lot of progress~~ My group and I are attending AX this year and we'll be there at teh gathering too~ We have uhh...Allen [me], Lenalee, Lavi, Kanda, Bak, Komui, Cross, Miranda, and Tyki.

Eh, really? Then we really have to take pictures!
But it's okay though. Truthfully I haven't sewed on the sleeves. =.= I will tomorrow though. And the bags are going to be really troublesome to do. >.>
