I know this comm has been rather quiet, but I miss seeing life in the DGM fandom. I was thinking that it'd be good to get to know some more folks who are active in this fandom these days, maybe spur some fresh discussions, share theories, inspire new fanworks, or just make some new friends.

So to that end, a friending meme!

Friending Contacts: morphinedementia@dw, and variations of that throughout the Internets. Also demderp@plurk, though it's mostly RP stuff or generic fangirling about Things and laughing at everything.
A bit about you: I'm 21, and a technical university student with appreciation to anything funny (or what I deem to be). Past few years have been bad, but I'm generally into creative stuff. Ish.

DGM interests: Mostly it's the characters and the visualization (?) of the atmosphere that caught me. I really like when the setup makes me feel it, even if I don't notice the details at first. Plot is cool too, but it's secondary in that. And, eh, I think this was the first series where I pretty much liked ALL characters? To name some favorites, that would be Road, Reever, Kanda, Lavi, Suman, Tiedoll and so on. I mostly relate to Miranda, though. 8D;; It's probably a well known fact that I ship Kanda with Lavi (and Lenalee. and Alma.) and was pretty active in fandom a few years back. Choosing a favorite part is difficult, but let's say it was the Ark (esp Kanda VS Skinn and Lavi VS Road fights), Rewinding Town and Level 4 arcs. I'm still reading because I'm a masochist interested in how it'll end and in hopes to see more cool stuff along the way.

DGM fandom activities: I used to write fic (but I haven't in a few years so naturally most of my stuff makes me ashamed now ahaha. I'd like to get back to it some day), and I sometimes draw a bit, mostly ridiculous stuff. Nowadays I mostly bum around or RP; I usually play some version of Kanda and my main journal on DW for him is artificialflower.

Fandoms you're into besides DGM: Gintama, Megas XLR, AMG Alice, Harry Potter, Pandora Hearts, Shaman King, Friends, Get Smart (the series) and a bunch of other animanga/book/TV/videogame things, although to be honest I'm not really in the fandoms aside from being a fan and desperately looking for people to scream at about the latest hideous line or something.

Other hobbies and interests: drawing, writing, making music, I used to do some crafts but one day my patience for it ran out. I also like gears. And screwing stuff (with a screwdriver, you pervert). I used to read a lot and still do when I find something interesting (ooh, mr. Remarque, ooh). And games, from domino or chess to Sims or Click The Goddamn Penguin. Also sleeping, like most students.

The Level 4 arc is one of my favorites! I really felt worried for how it was going to turn out for everyone. @_@

I think current chapters let you draw a conclusion on what he saw, but they are confusing in their own right. @_@
